Valerion has unveiled a new 4K projector with unique technology. Called the VisionMaster Max, it comes with what the company touts to be the first-ever patented interchangeable lens. With this new tech, the projector aims to extend the throw distances and offer enhanced flexibility over the competitors.
Of course, the interchangeable lens isn't the only highlight of Valerion VisionMaster Max. The 4K projector is described as boasting a contrast ratio of 15,000:1 along with Enhanced Black Level and Dynamic Tone Mapping technologies.
Another notable aspect of the VisionMaster Max is the 3,000 ISO lumens of rated brightness. Combined with 110% BT.2020 color coverage, the projector aims to make every frame look the way the director and cinematographer intended, if the press release is to be believed.
Under the hood, this 4K projector features the MediaTek MT9618 SoC with features like AI Super Resolution, which upscales FHD content to 4K. The VisionMaster Max also caters to gamers with its low 4 ms input lag, and there's also support for a 1080p video output at 240 Hz for those who'd rather have a higher refresh rate.
Other highlights of the Valerion VisionMaster Max include support for IMAX Enhanced, Dolby Atmos and DTS: Virtual X audio, AirPlay 2, and Chromecast wireless streaming. As for the price, the 4K projector is available on the official website at $3,999 (Epson EpiqVision Ultra LS650 curr. $2,040.98 on Amazon).
