A new projector has arrived from Fujifilm, the FP-ZUH6000. This is the latest model from the brand to feature its unusual rotating lens for immersive displays in commercial spaces. Upgrades compared to its predecessors include support for 4K images and enhanced color reproduction.

The Fujifilm Projector ZUH6000 has been announced. This is the latest model in the company’s Z-series, designed for commercial use in museums, art galleries and other spaces. It will be available in both black and white and is described by the company as lightweight at 17.5 kg (~38.6 lbs) and compact, measuring 486 x 496 x 175 mm (~19.1 x 19.5 x 6.9 inches).

Like its predecessors, the FP-ZUH6000 has a folded two-axial rotatable lens, allowing it to project in multiple directions. Fujifilm claims this technology is an industry first, enabling the lens to be tilted up to 90° and rotated 360°. Other features include a wide lens shift of up to 82% vertically and 35% horizontally, and 1.1x optical zoom.

The ZUH6000 is the first model in this series to support 4K (3,840 x 2,160 px) images. It is an ultra-short throw projector, allowing you to cast larger images from a shorter distance. The DLP projector is said to offer up to 6,000 lumens of brightness, matching the older Z6000. Unfortunately, the company has not indicated whether this measurement is aligned with an industry standard like ISO or ANSI lumens. Accompanying this brightness, Fujiifilm indicates that the latest model has 1.5 times better color reproduction than the Z6000.

The Fujifilm Projector FP-ZUH6000 is scheduled to launch this summer. More specific details, such as an exact release date, pricing and a list of countries where it will be available, have yet to be revealed. However, the projector will be on show at the Integrated Systems Europe 2025 event in Barcelona, Spain, running from February 4th to 7th.
