If you think your set-up for outdoor adventures would be completed by an appropriately rugged smartphone that can double as a projector, achieving that is in fact readily achievable by getting on Amazon and ordering a Tank 3 Pro.
That Unihertz/8849 device currently costs $729.99, whereas Oukitel has just revealed that its CES 2025 darling the WP100 Titan will be valued at $899 on its impending release. The phone is powered by Mediatek's Dimensity 7300 5G chip and has 16 GB of RAM, if the official product page is to be believed. It also has a battery rated for a capacity of no less than 33,000mAh, compared to 23,800mAh in the Tank 3 Pro. Oukitel claims that its more powerful new option will power the projection of up to 6 movies per charge - although it should be noted that the smartphone will only be able to do so at a brightness of up to 100 lumens.
The OEM is also currently offering potential WP100 Titan buyers the chance to pick it up at $300 off its new RRP. However, one needs to pay a deposit of $5 to make sure of getting this apparently optimal Super Early Bird deal.
The "VIP Reservation" fee is refundable, so that the same $5 might be able to contribute to ordering the WP100 Titan at $599. However, Oukitel has yet to set the date on which the "Most Premium" discount can be activated.
