Unihertz Jelly Max: Tiny 5G smartphone with 100 MP main camera to launch on Kickstarter with 40% discount
Unihertz published a teaser image of the Jelly Max in mid-June, and the company has now confirmed a few more details about the "world's smallest 5G smartphone" on a teaser website. Accordingly, the smartphone will be offered "soon" on Kickstarter with a "Super Early Bird" discount of up to 40%.
Unihertz has not yet confirmed the date on which the Kickstarter campaign will start or the RRP. Nevertheless, the manufacturer has already confirmed initial details about the cameras: the Jelly Max will have a 100 MP main camera, a telephoto camera with 3.4x optical zoom and a 32 MP selfie camera. The teaser image shows the strongly rounded, partially transparent back of the Jelly Max for the first time.

Unihertz had previously confirmed that, despite its compact dimensions, the smartphone has a battery with a capacity of 4,000 mAh, which exceeds the battery capacity of the Apple iPhone 15 Pro by as much as 22%. Charging takes place via USB-C with up to 66 watts, meaning that a charge from 0 to 90% should only take 20 minutes.
The tiny mid-range smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300, which has four ARM Cortex-A78 performance cores and four Cortex-A55 efficiency cores. Unihertz also installs 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of flash storage in the top model. The most important details, namely the screen diagonal, the dimensions and the weight of the Jelly Max, have not yet been revealed.
