JBL will showcase its new Horizon 3 at CES 2025, a smart clock radio designed to support the natural sleep cycle with relaxing natural sounds such as ocean waves.

In addition to its flagship Tour One M3 headphones, Harman brand JBL is also showcasing a new clock radio at CES 2025. The JBL Horizon 3 is the successor to the Horizon 2 and is designed for a place in the home on bedside tables, promising to support the natural sleep cycle.

The JBL Horizon has a slim design with a frosted display on the front and intuitive ambient lighting. Together with relaxing sounds such as ocean waves in sunrise mode, this aims to "help regulate circadian rhythms". In the evening, nature inspired sounds help to create a relaxing atmosphere in the bedroom and "unwind to nature inspired sounds before going to sleep".

The device can be customized in terms of alarm settings, equalizer and lighting via the JBL One app. In addition to an integrated FM radio (FM), the JBL Horizon 3 offers two alarm settings and a large rotary knob for easy operation. Inside the Horizon 3, two 1.5-inch full-range speakers with dual passive radiators are intended to provide high quality audio. Bluetooth 5.3 allows for seamless streaming via smartphones or other devices, while Auracast can be used to connect multiple speakers.

According to JBL, the new Horizon 3 will launch in May 2025. Customers will have the option between grey and black for a price of $129.95.
