Lenovo Tab Plus with superb 8-speaker JBL audio system arrives in the US with an affordable price

Lenovo's recently launched Tab Plus is now available for purchase in the United States through Lenovo's online store. This follows the tablet's limited release across a select few international markets, including the EU. Priced at $320, the Lenovo Tab Plus is a decently equipped tablet with phenomenal audio performance being its key highlight.

At its core, the Lenovo Tab Plus is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 SoC, which allows for acceptable, albeit unimpressive system performance - one of the key criticisms of the tablet in our detailed review. However, the tablet's excellent 8-speaker sound system makes it a commendable entertainment device - made even better by its 90 Hz IPS display. The optional stylus allows for great productivity use, and the excellent battery life sweetens the pie.

All in all, the Lenovo Tab Plus is an easy-to-recommend tablet for most people with moderate performance needs, and features sound quality that far outclasses what can be expected from other offerings within a similar price range. The tablet is perfectly well-suited for entertainment use, although some lightweight productivity is by no means out of the question despite its somewhat lacking system performance.
