Lenovo Legion Y700 (2024) gaming tablet officially confirmed, said to be 'coming soon'
Lenovo unveiled the 2023 version of the Legion Y700 gaming tablet in China last year, powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 CPU along with a 144 Hz display. Earlier this year, the tablet was launched in the international market with the name Legion Tab, and garnered overwhelmingly positive reviews.
Just recently, Lenovo officially teased the 2024 version of the Legion Y700 gaming tablet on Weibo, but shared no details concerning its specifications or release date, apart from stating that the device is 'coming soon'. However, based on the tablet's recent appearance in Geekbench 5's database, it is safe to assume that the next-generation Y700 will boast the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.
In the aforementioned Geekbench listing shared by the prominent leaker Digital Chat Station, the Legion Y700 can be seen equipped with 12 GB of memory, and posted a single- and multi-core score of 2,209 and 6,509 respectively. However, not much else is known regarding the tablet at this point, and while Lenovo's Weibo post does confirm its eventual release, it does not provide any information that we did not already have.
With only a few more months remaining in the year, the next-generation Legion Y700 is widely expected to launch sometime soon, which is likely to be followed by an international release, similar to what we witnessed with its predecessor.
