Anker MagGo USB-C adapter launches with a 3-in-1 design for easy storage expansion

The Anker MagGo USB-C adapter first surfaced in July, and the company has now made it official. This brand-new accessory features a 3-in-1 design and allows you to expand the storage of your iPhone without leaving wires hanging. As the name suggests, it’s basically a MagSafe accessory that attaches to the back of the smartphone.

There is an angled USB-C plug that attaches to the phone, and the adapter has a built-in USB-C port. Anker says that this port has support for up to 42.5W charging. That is close to the 45W fast charging support for the iPhone 16 series and higher than the 29W rating on the iPhone 15 lineup.

As for the storage expansion aspect, the MagGo USB-C adapter has a TF and an SD 4.0 card slot. Anker says that the maximum transfer speed from these slots reaches 312 MB/s, which is plenty for saving 4K60 ProRes videos directly on the cards. The company also promises two times faster transfers than the SD 3.0 standard.
