Insta360 reveals new product launch date with Flow 2 and Flow 2 Pro camera gimbals rumoured
Insta360 has announced the launch date for its next product release, two months after it refreshed its X4 action camera (curr. $499.99 on Amazon) with a pricier BMW Motorrad Edition. As usual, the company has only dropped hints about what is coming over the horizon.
Evidence already exists about what Insta360 could be on the verge of releasing, though. For instance, a major UK retailer published a full product listing for the Flow 2 camera gimbal in late November. Following that, reliable leaker Igor Bogdanov shared what appeared to be retail packaging of the Flow 2 Pro.
Insta360's teaser video implies that new camera gimbal hardware is in store, too. Moreover, has added the tagline 'stayed locked in', which we suspect relates to features including 'AI-powered' subject tracking, zoom tracking and person re-identification that surfaced in November's leak. Seemingly, Insta360 will advertise these changes under the catch-all 'Deep Track 4.0', which will be joined by other functionality like 360-degree 'infinite pan' tracking. Insta360 will make its full product announcement on January 16 at 13:00 UTC.
