Six games, including a popular multiplayer shooter, will leave Xbox Game Pass on January 15, but members can take advantage of a discount to purchase their favorites before they go.

After Microsoft added four games to the Xbox Game Pass on January 8, gamers will have to say goodbye to six titles on January 15. Puzzle enthusiasts might want to check out Escape Academy, Figment and Those Who Remain before they’re removed. Multiplayer shooter fans will find Insurgency: Sandstorm and Exoprimal particularly noteworthy, while builders might enjoy a final run with Common’Hood. Members can also take advantage of a 20% discount on all these titles until their removal. Here’s a quick overview:

Common'Hood

Common’Hood is a construction game where players build and nurture a community in an abandoned factory. It features a minimalist art style and highly detailed building mechanics. Players must gather resources, research technologies and craft tools to meet the settlers’ needs. As the game advances, many tasks can be automated with the help of robots, adding depth to the gameplay.

Escape Academy

In Escape Academy, players enroll in a unique school dedicated to training masters of escape rooms. Solo or in pairs, they solve their way through twelve intricately designed escape rooms filled with diverse challenges. The game also features competitive modes like treasure hunts and puzzle races. Its vibrant art style adds a distinctive charm to the puzzle-solving experience.

Exoprimal

In this third-person shooter, players find themselves in state-of-the-art combat suits and together face hordes of dinosaurs - including the particularly dangerous Neosaurs. The exosuits are classified into Assault, Tank, and Support roles and can be customized to match different playstyles. In the Dinosaur Survival game mode, two teams of five compete against each other to complete objectives and save humanity from the dinosaurs. Exoprimal offers a realistic graphic style with a futuristic look.

Figment

Figment is a musical action-adventure set in a vibrant, hand-painted world. Players take on the role of Dusty, the former voice of courage, and, together with his companion Piper, embark on a journey through the depths of a mind plagued by nightmares. The goal is to solve puzzles and battle nightmarish creatures to reclaim the lost courage. A standout feature is the dynamic soundtrack, which adapts and evolves based on the players’ actions, adding a unique musical layer to the experience.

Insurgency: Sandstorm

Insurgency: Sandstorm is a team-based multiplayer shooter offering intense 14v14 battles or cooperative matches where up to eight players face off against AI opponents. Set in a gritty, realistic war environment with an authentic color palette, the game emphasizes precision and teamwork. Players can customize their characters with a wide array of weapons and equipment, while realistic ballistics and rapid time-to-kill mechanics add to the high-stakes experience.

Those Who Remain

Those Who Remain is a psychological horror adventure set in the dark, unsettling town of Dormont, where moral choices play a key role. Players must navigate two interconnected dimensions, using light sources to explore, solve puzzles and survive. The decisions made directly influence the fate of the protagonist and shape a story that delves into themes of loss, guilt and the nature of humanity.
