Insta360 is still remaining quiet for now about the state of its smartphone camera gimbal division. However, leaker Igor Bogdanov (@Quadro_News) has shared fresh details about another model, having discovered an Insta360 Flow 2 retail listing last week.
In summary, Argos UK briefly listed the Insta360 Flow 2 on its website with launch pricing, key specifications and official images. Now, Bogdanov has obtained images of the Flow 2 Pro, which we suspect Insta360 will launch simultaneously with the Flow 2 that has already leaked online.
Ultimately, the features shown on what looks like retail packaging mirror those described by Argos UK for the Flow 2. However, it appears that 360° 'Infinite Pan' tracking may return as a Pro model exclusive. Incidentally, the Flow 2 series will sport a new version of Insta360's Deep Track technology, which has graduated to v4.0 on at least the Flow 2 Pro.
By contrast, the Flow 2 Pro will only match its predecessor's 10-hours of official battery life. Likewise, Insta360 will continue to advertise its smartphone camera gimbals as featuring 3-axis stabilisation. Although a release date for the Flow 2 series remains unknown for now, the appearance of leaked retail packaging implies that the Flow 2 and Flow 2 Pro will be officially available before the end of the year.
