The iQoo 13 was expected to make its global debut in India on December 3, but just a day before the announcement, the phone has been listed on Vivo's Indonesian website.
The listing reveals there are no differences in specifications between the Chinese and global variants except for the software. Also, only two configurations and two color options are available unlike in China where buyers have five configurations and four colors to choose from.
The phone is available to pre-order on Vivo's website for IDR 9,999,000 (~$629/€598) for the variant with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage while the 16GB RAM + 512GB version retails for IDR 11,999,000 (~$755/€718). Both variants are available to purchase in Alpha (gray) and Legend (BMW Motorsport edition).
For the above prices, buyers get a 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 3168 × 1440 resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The iQoo 13 is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and also has a custom chipset called the iQoo Q2 which enhances gaming experience by reducing flickering.
iQoo's new flagship has three rear cameras. a 50MP Sony IMX921 primary camera, a 50MP telephoto camera, and a 50MP ultrawide angle camera. On the front is a 32MP camera for selfies and video calls. The phone packs several camera features including portrait mode, night mode, long exposure mode, slo-mo recording, Supermoon mode, tilt-shift, live photo, and an Ultra HD Document mode for scanning documents.
The iQoo 13 also has an improved VC cooling system when compared to its predecessor, the iQoo 12. It is 17% larger, has 10% better heat dissipation, and boasts a 26% improvement in cooling efficiency. The phone packs a large 6150mAh battery with support for 120W fast wired charging. It also has an IP68 + IP69 dust and water resistance ratings.
Unlike the Chinese version which ships with OriginOS 5, the global version runs Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15 out of the box. In addition, iQoo throws in gifts such as a free protective case, a pair of iQoo Wireless Active Earphones, and a gaming finger sleeve to sweeten the deal.
