Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus: Xiaomi confirms Light Hunter 800 and 50 MP telephoto cameras for global release
A few months have now passed since Xiaomi released the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus in China. Since then, the company has introduced the Xiaomi 15 and Redmi K80 series too, albeit only its home market too.
However, the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus will be the first of the bunch to be available internationally. Incidentally, Xiaomi has finally confirmed that the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus will be joined by at least the Redmi Note 14 Pro on December 9 in India.
Arguably, one of the highlights of the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus is its Light Hunter 800 primary camera sensor. For reference, Xiaomi also uses this sensor across the MIX Fold 4, MIX Flip and Redmi K80 Pro, among other high-end devices.

Initially, it was claimed that the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus would not utilise the same primary camera sensor globally. Instead, evidence within HyperOS code suggested that the device would launch with the same Samsung ISOCELL HP3 sensor as its predecessor (curr. $375 on Amazon).
Likewise, Xiaomi Time added that the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus would miss out on a 50 MP telephoto camera outside China. However, none of this appears to be true. In fact, Xiaomi has gone to lengths to confirm that the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus will reach India on December 9 with a 50 MP telephoto camera and the Light Hunter 800 as its primary camera.
