iQoo Z9 Turbo is a mid-range smartphone that was launched back in April. The company has now announced the launch date of the iQoo Z9 Turbo Endurance, bringing slight changes over the original model.
iQoo officially shared details of the new model on Weibo. The phone is confirmed to launch on January 3, 2025. There are four new highlights of the Z9 Turbo Endurance. The original Z9 Turbo featured a 6,000mAh battery. The Z9 Turbo Endurance will bring a larger battery of 6,400mAh capacity. The second highlight is the dual-frequency GPS, which will help enhance location accuracy.
The phone will also boot the latest version of Vivo’s custom skin, the OriginOS 5 on top of Android operating system. The last highlight is the new Flying Blue color option.
Other than these changes, the phone is expected to be identical to the original model. Hence, we can expect a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. Like the original Z9 Turbo, the Endurance Edition may feature the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor. The mid-range phone may have a dual rear camera setup featuring a 50MP primary and 8MP ultra-wide lens. For selfies, the phone is expected to have a 16MP shooter on the front.
The original iQoo Z9 Turbo started at 1999 Yuan, roughly translating to USD 273. We can expect a similar price point for the upcoming model. The Z9 Turbo Endurance Edition may also launch in the global market following the launch in China.
