The Lenovo Yoga 7 14 has recently dropped back to its record-low price of $599.99 at Best Buy, a 33% reduction from its MSRP. It features a 14-inch IPS touchscreen with a resolution of 1,920 × 1,200 and a peak brightness of 300 nits. However, the refresh rate is limited to just 60 Hz, while Lenovo claims it can cover just 45% of the NTSC color space.
The convertible comes equipped with the AMD Ryzen 7 8840HS, a Hawk Point processor with eight Zen 4 cores able to boost up to 5.1 GHz, as well as RDNA 3-based Radeon 780M integrated graphics. It gets paired with 16 GB of LPDDR5X-6400 memory and a 1 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD, which is occupying the sole M.2 2242 storage slot. Meanwhile, the 71 Wh battery can charge at up to 65 W with the included USB-C power adapter.
Connectivity includes two USB-C ports (1x 40 Gbps + 1x 10 Gbps, both with USB Power Delivery and DisplayPort 1.4a), one 5 Gbps USB-A, HDMI 2.1, a 3.5 mm audio combo jack, and a microSD card reader. The 2-in-1 supports Wi-Fi 6E as well as Bluetooth 5.3, and it also sports a fingerprint sensor and a 1,080p webcam with IR.
We recently reviewed the Lenovo Yoga 7 14 and found that it bundles good performance for its class with a sleek aluminum chassis and respectable battery life. On the other hand, its main drawback is the mediocre display with poor color coverage.
