HP is stealing Lenovo's thunder at the moment with an admittedly great deal for users in the market for a 16-inch OLED convertible
The 2026 Lenovo Yoga 7 2-in-1 16 is now shipping with the fancy new AMD Ryzen AI 7 400 series for $1200 to $1600+ depending on the configuration. The competing Intel-powered HP offers almost the same user experience for significantly less.

HP is currently running a sale on its 16-inch OmniBook X Flip 2-in-1 convertible for $900 or $500 off its original price. The deal is notable as the high-end system carries a modern Intel Core Ultra 7 Lunar Lake CPU alongside a 3K OLED touchscreen. In our full review of the model, we praised its versatility and luxurious design while taking shots at the shallow keyboard keys. The attractive price, while likely only temporary, puts a ton of pressure on recently released competitors including the AMD-powered Lenovo Yoga 2-in-1 16.

As of this writing, Lenovo is offering the Yoga 7 2-in-1 16 with the latest AMD Ryzen AI 7 445 CPU but similar 3K OLED touchscreen as the aforementioned HP for a hefty $1650. The $700+ surcharge over the HP is interesting as the more expensive Lenovo configuration has both slower graphics performance and shorter battery life than the cheaper HP configuration according to our recent review. Furthermore, the thicker Yoga 7 2-in-1 isn't necessarily built better or more luxurious, either.

The two notable advantages of the Lenovo are its slightly faster multi-thread performance (roughly +15%) and higher RAM capacity (24 GB vs. 16 GB) than the HP. However, these differences aren't anywhere near enough to justify the massive price delta between the two competing configurations at the moment. If you're in the market for a 16-inch convertible, then the OmniBook deal is looking pretty good relatively speaking.
