Lenovo Yoga 7i 16 IAP7 2-in-1 now shipping with Intel Arc A370M graphics for $1400 USD
Unveiled earlier this year at CES 2022, the Yoga 7i 16 is now available in multiple configurations including an optional discrete Arc A370M GPU. The model is notable for its 16-inch 2-in-1 form factor which makes it one of the heaviest and biggest convertible laptops you can buy. In fact, its 2 kg weight is almost twice as heavy as some 15-inch laptops like the LG Gram 15.
The good news is that the bulky design of the Yoga 7i 16 has allowed it to integrate fast Intel 12th gen Core-P and Core-H series CPUs, the aforementioned Intel GPU, and several ports including HDMI and multiple USB-C ports to reduce the reliance on dongles. It's a system that isn't afraid to be heavy in the name of additional features.
Users who don't mind giving up a bit of performance for a much lighter system can consider the LG Gram 16 2-in-1 instead. The model is half a kilogram lighter with no discrete graphics, but it includes a similar resolution touchscreen.
