Lenovo releases new lightweight 16-inch laptop globally with AMD Gorgon Point or Intel Panther Lake
Less than a month has passed since Lenovo expanded its IdeaPad Slim series with the IdeaPad Slim 5i Ultra. For context, the company presented the laptop during MWC 2026 in Barcelona. Currently, Lenovo expects to start selling this 14-inch laptop from June onwards.
In the meantime, it has now released the IdeaPad Slim 5 16IPH11 and 16AGP11 globally. Replacing older Gen 10 models (curr. $649.99 on Amazon), Lenovo's Gen 11 editions can be configured with 1200p IPS, 1200p OLED or 2.8K OLED displays. Please note that exact display options vary between regions, with some receiving 120 Hz IPS panels and others 120 Hz OLED alternatives.
Similarly, the IdeaPad Slim 5 16AGP11 starts with the Ryzen AI 5 430 in Europe but the Ryzen AI 7 445 in Australia and North America. The Ryzen AI 7 450 is available in those latter two markets, too. Meanwhile, Lenovo sell the IdeaPad Slim 5 16IPH11 globally with the Core Ultra 5 322 or Core Ultra 7 355 from Intel's Panther Lake generation.
The IdeaPad Slim 5 16AGP11 $849.99, £870, AUD 1,869, CAD 1,179 and €999 in the Eurozone. By contrast, Lenovo charges $949 in the US for the IdeaPad Slim 5 16IPH11, as well as £870, AUD 1,679, CAD 1,319 and €999 in the Eurozone. Please see the regional links below for more details.
