Intel-powered Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5i Ultra debuts with lightweight design and OLED display

The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5i Ultra has been officially showcased at MWC 2026. It's a thin and light laptop that's aimed at both performance and mobility. The system is powered by Intel Core Ultra processors, but the brand didn't specify all the CPU options yet.
On the front, there is a 14-inch display that can be either a 120Hz IPS LCD or OLED panel with a 16:10 aspect ratio. Regardless of the chosen screen, Lenovo says that the panel will offer "vibrant and crisp" images all day long. Speaking of which, the IdeaPad Slim 5i Ultra features a 65Wh battery inside, which is said to deliver up to 20 hours of video playback.
There's support for Rapid Charge Boost, promising up to two hours of runtime with 15 minutes of charge (100W Lenovo charger curr. $44.99 on Amazon). The laptop features three USB-C ports, and Lenovo also promises stable wireless connectivity.
As for the chassis, Lenovo highlights that it measures 11.9mm at the thinnest point, and the overall weight is around 1.15kg. The thin and lightweight nature of the laptop should make it a good option for those who are on the go.
Other notable aspects from the initial MWC 2026 showcase include an FHD IR camera with facial recognition, an integrated camera privacy shutter, and a sleek finish on the exterior. Lenovo plans to make the IdeaPad Slim 5i Ultra available from June 2026, with a starting price of €899.
