Lenovo releases new 16-inch OLED gaming laptop globally

Lenovo is preparing to launch a slew of new devices at MWC 2026 based on recent leaks. Ultimately, Lenovo is unlikely to begin selling those devices for a while yet in most cases. To that end, one gaming laptop that it announced during CES 2026 has only just become available globally.
Specifically, Lenovo is now selling the Legion 7a Gen 11 worldwide. To recap, the Legion 7a serves as a more power-efficient alternative to the Legion 7i Gen 10 (curr. $1,799 on Amazon). Thinner and lighter than the Legion 7i too, the Legion 7a weighs 1.85 kg.
Unfortunately, Lenovo restricts the Legion 7a to an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 laptop GPU with 8 GB VRAM. At launch, Lenovo is offering Ryzen AI 7 450 and Ryzen AI 9 HX 470 processors with 32 GB of LPDDR5X-8533 soldered RAM. The Legion 7a features the same 16-inch, 2.5K, 500-nit and 240 Hz OLED display as its Legion 7i counterpart too, as well as an 84 Wh battery.
As it stands, we have found listings in Australia, Canada, France, Ireland, Spain, the United Kingdom and the United States. Prices start AUD 4,079, CAD 2,889.99, €2,399, £2,199.99 and $2,079.99, respectively. Please note that Eurozone pricing varies between member states. More details about the Legion 7a can be found in our launch article.
