Igor Bogdanov has returned to revealing information about the RS 4 Mini, having dipped his toes into the Osmo Mobile 7 and Osmo Mobile 7P yesterday. For content, Bogdanov was the first source to leak official photos of the RS 4 Mini, which initially emerged at regulatory bodies late last year.
Previously, Bogdanov showcased rather staid product images that did not show the RS 4 Mini in use. Now though, the leaker has offered up a stack of 'lifestyle' photos showing the camera gimbal being used in an idealised setting. Evidently, DJI plans to market the RS 4 Mini on the strength of its new Intelligent Tracking module, which attaches via eight pogo pins.
The first photo embedded below also appears to show Intelligent Tracking compatibility with the Osmo Mobile 7. As far as we can tell, the module will allow both the Osmo Mobile 7 and RS 4 Mini to support DJI ActiveTrack, which its drones use to track the movements of a given subject. It remains to be seen at this stage whether DJI will somehow bring Intelligent Tracking support to last year's RS 4 and RS 4 Pro (curr. $869 on Amazon).
