The Magic7 Pro has been listed on Honor’s online shop in various European countries and will be ready for preorder on Wednesday, 15 January. Whilst Honor hasn’t provided any pricing information, the highly reliable leaker billbil-kun said on Dealabs that the flagship will start at €1,299 (around £1,099) in Europe.
This means the smartphone will likely be €100 (£85) cheaper than originally anticipated. The price mentioned above applies to a variant with 12 GB of memory and 512 GB of flash storage. Those who order the Magic7 Pro at launch will receive an additional €300 (£300) early bird discount, bringing the price down to an estimated €1,000 (£800). Honor will also include a free high-speed charger with the device, subject to availability.
The European version of the Honor Magic7 Pro will reportedly feature a smaller 5,270 mAh battery rather than the 5,850 mAh silicon-carbon battery found in the Chinese variant. Nonetheless, the camera flagship still offers impressive specs, boasting a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite as well as a 6.8-inch LTPO OLED display capable of a 120 Hz refresh rate, a full-screen max brightness of 1,600 nits, and an HDR peak brightness of 5,000 nits.
The camera system is a highlight in the hardware: The Honor Magic7 Pro packs a 50 MP main shooter with a 1/1.3-inch sensor and a variable aperture ranging from f/1.4 to f/2.0. Honor has also incorporated a 50 MP f/2.0 ultrawide camera, and a 200 MP f/2.6 periscope lens sporting a 1/1.4-inch sensor and 3x optical zoom. The 50 MP f/2.0 selfie camera is paired with a time-of-flight (ToF) sensor, allowing the phone to use secure 3D face unlock as an alternative to the in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
