Teclast has kicked off the new year by expanding the T60 series, having initially released the T60 over a year ago (curr. $218.49 on Amazon). This time, it has introduced the T60Ai, which builds on the naming scheme of the P50Ai that debuted in late November.
Although not as big as the monstrous T70, the T60Ai is still one of the largest tablets that Teclast has released to date. As the image below shows, the T60Ai comes with a 12-inch IPS display that outputs at 1,200 x 2,000 pixels with a 90 Hz refresh rate and a 180 Hz touch sampling rate. The display also reaches 330 nits peak brightness, which is not all that bright on the scheme of things.
Additionally, Teclast has equipped the T60Ai with the same Allwinner A733 chipset that powers the P50Ai. Thus, the T60Ai has two Cortex-A76 and six Cortex-A55 CPU cores at its disposal, which Teclast complements with 6 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128 GB of UFS 3.1 flash storage. An 8,000 mAh battery is onboard too, as is a USB Type-C port that supports DisplayPort Alt mode.
Another feature of the T60Ai is its desktop mode, which mimics Samsung DeX with a secondary UI that can be run directly on the tablet itself. The T60Ai is currently only available in a single memory configuration that Teclast further restricts to a sole Cherry Red colourway. At the time of writing, Teclast is offering the tablet for $153 with a $199 MSRP.
