Lenovo has formally introduced the Yoga Tab Plus, which is not to be confused with the Tab Plus it released last year (curr. $295.63 on Amazon). While the Tab Plus was a mid-range effort, the Yoga Tab Plus is one of the most powerful Android tablets around.
In part, this is thanks to Lenovo's inclusion of a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, which Qualcomm replaced a few months ago with the Snapdragon 8 Elite. Nonetheless, the Yoga Tab Plus sits among the RedMagic Nova and OnePlus Pad 2 as the only tablets available globally with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.
Additionally, Lenovo has equipped the Yoga Tab Plus with 16 GB of LPDDR5X-8533 RAM, 512 GB of UFS 4.0 flash storage and a 10,200 mAh battery that supports 45 W charging via its USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port. Moreover, the Wi-Fi 7 capable tablet also features a 12.7-inch IPS display that outputs at 2,944 x 1,840 pixels (3K) with a 144 Hz refresh rate and 900 nits peak brightness (HBM).
Furthermore, Lenovo has included a pair of 13 MP cameras and six speakers tuned by Harman Kardon. For reference, the company has crammed all this hardware into a chassis that measures 188.3 x 290.91 x 6.69 mm and weighs 640 g. Currently, Lenovo expects to begin selling the Yoga Tab Plus later this month in the US and Europe for $699.99 and €699, respectively.
