The MatePad Pro 13.2 is Huawei's slightly more compact alternative to devices such as the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra that currently goes for $1,149 on Amazon. The most up-to-date model of the tablet at present is known as its 2025 variant, even though it was made official in November 2024. However, it has remained exclusive to the Chinese market since then.
Now, however, it looks like the premium slate might be able to make its new name more accurate as far as a global audience is concerned, with clearance for sale in Indonesia courtesy of that nation's SDPPI regulator.
It has been registered with a new variation on its original model number WEB-W00 (WEB-W09) and thus now seems poised to be unleashed as a Global Edition of the MatePad Pro 13.2 2025.
The tablet seems little changed compared to its '2023' predecessor, with ostensibly the same (obviously 13.2-inch) 3:2 2.8K OLED display that goes at up to 144Hz and supports the P3 "wide color gamut", sustained by the same 10,100mAh battery.
However, the 2025 model can charge at up to 100W as opposed to 88W in the 'old' Pro 13.2, runs HarmonyOS 4.3 out of the box rather than the 4.0 version, is touted as particularly optimized for the OEM's latest AI productivity features and the new GoPaint app and supports the new Huawei Sound audio tuning.
The MatePad Pro 13.2 2025 also has PaperMatte options, which start at 5799 yuan (~$791) at the 12GB RAM/256GB internal storage base model level as opposed to 5199 yuan (~$709) for the same but without the anti-reflection coating.
