One-Netbook has launched the OneXplayer G1, a portable gaming laptop featuring AMD's Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor. The device has a portable form factor paired with a detachable magnetic keyboard and built-in game controls, which renders it suitable for both gaming and productivity.
The AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 powering the OneXplayer G1 comes with 12 CPU cores — 4 Zen 5 cores running at 5.1 GHz and 8 energy-efficient Zen 5c cores. The processor supports up to 54W power consumption, scaling from a base of 28W to meet performance demands. AMD's Radeon 890M integrated GPU, clocked at 2.9 GHz, has support for up to four 4K monitors simultaneously. The chip also features AMD's XDNA 2 NPU, with 50 TOPS for AI processing tasks. The Radeon 890M GPU further supports modern video codecs, including HEVC and AV1, and is great for 1080p gaming with low detail settings.
Weighing around 900g, the OneXplayer G1 is pretty lightweight and compact. It has an 8.8-inch 144Hz 2.5K display and supports LPDDR5x-8000 RAM, PCIe 4.0 storage, USB 4.0 connectivity, and Oculink for external GPU compatibility. The magnetic detachable keyboard and integrated gaming controls will let users switch between laptop, tablet, and console modes.
The OneXplayer G1 is now available at popular crowdfunding platform Indiegogo, where users can sign up for further updates regarding the same. With this new product, the Shenzhen-based company is experimenting with a compact, high-performance device that caters to multitasking, portable gaming, and general use.
