A few weeks after the RTX 5090-equipped Legion Pro 7i hit its lowest price point thus far, another good-looking configuration of Lenovo's high-end gaming laptop has received a noteworthy price cut as well. To be more exact, B&H Photo Video has put the 16-inch notebook on sale for $450 or 16% off the original list price.
As a result, the Lenovo Legion Pro 7i Gen 10 can now be ordered for $2,399 including free shipping, instead of the regular $2,849. This price applies to the model variant with the Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX, 32GB of memory and a 2TB SSD. On top, the machine is powered by the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti with 12GB GDDR7 VRAM, which is a more reasonable amount than the much-criticized 8GB of the RTX 5070 non-Ti. For comparison, Lenovo's official online store currently charges over $2,900 for a similar SKU with half the amount of SSD storage.
In addition to that, Lenovo has opted for a fantastic QHD OLED panel with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, 500 nits of SDR brightness and a 240Hz refresh rate. In our comprehensive written review and corresponding review video on YouTube, both of which revolve around a slightly different configuration, we praised the OLED screen and its Advanced Optimus as well as G-Sync support, and it also covers the entire DCI-P3 color space and can hit almost 1,000 nits in HDR mode.
We also found that the Legion Pro 7i has a fast processor, very good keyboard and modern port selection. However, prospective buyers should also note that Lenovo apparently put the primary focus on performance, which results in high core temperatures and a large footprint. But since the 16-inch notebook is mostly a desktop replacement and not a portable gaming machine, gamers with around $2,500 to spend might want to check out this deal and take the RTX 5070 Ti version of the Legion Pro 7i into consideration.
