Source: Ultrabook Review English
This gen8 Lenovo Legion Pro 7i is a mixed bag. It's still a good high-tier laptop with powerful components and solid performance in demanding loads, as well as an ergonomic utilitarian design. It's also among the more competitvely priced options in its class. But at the same time, compromises were made with this series, as this runs toasty on the high-power profiles and is only offered with a standad-gamut screen, among others.

80% Lenovo Legion Pro 7i Gen 8 Review
Source: PC Mag English
While the latest Lenovo Legion Pro 7i looks like a simple refresh for 2023, the move to the latest Intel and Nvidia hardware marks a major improvement in capability for gaming and everything else. The tried-and-true design may look the same, but Nvidia's gaming chops are better than ever before (especially when DLSS 3 is supported in a given game), and battery life got a decent improvement, even if it still has room for more. Throw in extras—like the per-key lighting on the keyboard and niche features like Tobii headtracking—and you have a fantastic premium-level mobile PC gaming rig. We won't act as if this laptop isn't expensive (nearly $3,000), but it's a lot cheaper than the Asus ROG Strix Scar 18 and the ultra-pricey MSI Titan GT77 (2023). It's still not cheap, but it's a heck of a lot more affordable than the nearly $5,000 price that this level of performance has commanded recently. That's enough for the Lenovo Legion Pro 7i Gen 8 to replace the Acer Predator Triton 300 SE as our favorite 16-inch gaming laptop, earning it our Editors' Choice award.

Lenovo Legion Pro 7 (16″, 2023) review – it receives the 175W RTX 4000 treatment too
Source: Laptop Media English
This notebook’s display covers 98% of the sRGB color gamut and features accurate color representation thanks to our Gaming and Web design profile. Furthermore, the 240Hz refresh rate has quick pixel response times. This ensures a really smooth image, even in fast-paced games. Now, how many laptops do you know that have a total of 6 USB ports? Well, this one does, and one of them is a Thunderbolt 4 connector. The absence of an SD card reader is disappointing, but not unexpected, given the history of Legion devices in recent years. All in all, the Legion Pro 7 (16″, 2023) is a really good gaming machine. As with every other laptop out there, it has its downsides, one of which is its price. However, it is probably the most down-to-earth-looking gaming notebook in this segment of the market.

80% Lenovo Legion Pro 7i review: this powerful desktop replacement lets us down in one key area
Source: Techradar English
As the next-gen GPUs are upon us, there are plenty of gaming laptops releasing this year that are already taking advantage of the powerful mobile cards. The Lenovo Legion Pro 7i is one of them, outfitted with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 GPU, a 13th-gen Intel Core i9-13900KF, 32 GB DDR5-5600MHz RAM, and 1 TB SSD M.2 2280 PCIe Gen4 TLC storage. This is an absolute beast of a gaming laptop, made to be a desktop replacement with its extremely high specs and gaming performance. Design-wise, this is a visually below-average laptop. It comes in black, the most overused color in the market, and thick and bulky, which is par for the course for most desktop replacements. Due to the large screen size and thickness to accommodate the RTX 4080 inside, it’s pretty heavy to lug around as well. There is a slight cool factor in the way the chassis is cute, lending it a sci-fi aesthetic that saves it from being downright ugly. However, its build quality is pretty high not to mention eco-friendly, with a metal chassis made of 50% recycled aluminum on the bottom cover and 30% post-consumer recycled polymers on the top cover.

At the retail price of S$5,299, the Lenovo Legion Pro7i, powered by Intel Core i9-13900HX with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 laptop GPU, 32GB DDR5 memory, 1TB SSD storage and preloaded with Windows 11 Home 64-bit, isn’t the souped up machine that professionals might want, but that would likely cost twice as much for a lot less comparable increase in performance. The price is steep compared to an ultraportable, but its in the price range of a MacBook Pro 16 and this one can run far more games. If you’re looking for a machine that handles games better than an ultrabook, and want to keep spending down, this Pro7i offers great features and performance for its price.

80% Lenovo Legion Pro 7i review: workhorse with a wild streak
Source: Digital Trends English
I was more impressed with how the Legion Pro 7i tackled our productivity and creative benchmarks than I was with its gaming performance. It’s in second place behind the 2023 MSI GT77 Titan, which costs $2,000 more, so I’m not really complaining. If you want a gaming laptop that performs well and that can be used in non-gaming environments without standing out, then the Legion Pro 7i is a great choice. The fact that it’s reasonably affordable, given the components inside, is just icing on the cake.

The Lenovo Legion Pro 7i is the company’s flagship gaming laptop, offering up the highest-end components and a design that’s tuned for gaming. The latest model sports a very fast Intel 13th-gen Raptor Lake CPU and a high-end Nvidia GPU, for a price that’s quite reasonable compared to much of the competition. It’s a well-built, conservatively styled laptop that won’t appeal directly to gamers, but will have wider appeal among those who want to use its power for productivity and creative tasks. And the Legion Pro 7i has plenty of that — power — and is one of the fastest laptops we’ve yet tested. The competition is on its way, but for now, the Legion Pro 7i is near the top of the gaming laptop leaderboard.

80% Lenovo Legion Pro 7i Gen 8 (2023) review: Just right
Source: Tom's Guide English
The Legion Pro 7i is one of my favorite gaming laptops, and easily one of the best you can buy right now — packing plenty of power alongside a vivid display into a premium, durable frame. Not only that, but the keyboard is a joy to type on, the touchpad is surprisingly satisfying to use given my experience with spongy gaming laptop pads in the past, and that 240Hz refresh rate on the screen is great for your eSports needs. Add to that the RTX 4070 performance paired with that speedy Intel Core i9 CPU, and the ton of I/O on here, and this is a solid package. That’s not to say there aren't some flaws: the webcam isn’t that great, and the fans whir up a storm. But at its core, this is both a performant laptop for work by day (with the refined aesthetic to boot), and a beasty gaming system by night.

Lenovo Legion Pro 7i Gen 8 hands-on impressions
Source: Laptop Mag English
There are a ton of reasons why you’ll love the Lenovo Legion Pro 7i. Within that premium, durable chassis, you’ve got a gorgeous display, great ergonomics, and a ton of power. That’s not to say it’s perfect: the webcam is still not that great, it gets hot under the collar real fast, and the steeper asking price when compared to other RTX 4070 systems will put some people off. But at its core, you’re getting a great gaming laptop, paired with a fantastic all-round performer.

90% Lenovo Legion Pro 7i review: Blazing performance, good price
Source: PC Mag English
Costs can quickly spiral out of control when shopping for a gaming laptop that offers the latest technology from Intel and Nvidia. The Lenovo Legion Pro 7i Gen 8 delivers the goods while staying on budget. It provides excellent value by pairing a powerful Core i9-13900HX CPU with not RTX 4080 or RTX 4090 graphics, but the more cost-effective RTX 4070 GPU. And its roomy, 16-inch 16:10 display is bright, sharp, and fast enough to extend the laptop’s value even further. For a midrange gaming laptop, the rather staid design is sufficient. We’d expect a more interesting and rigid enclosure for a higher-end gaming laptop, which is why we wouldn’t recommend scaling up in the Legion Pro 7i Gen 8 line and choosing one of the pricier models with an RTX 4080 or RTX 4090 GPU. As configured, this machine is an excellent example of a mainstream gaming laptop that delivers for the price.

2023 Lenovo Legion Pro 7i Review
Source: Mobile Tech Review English
The 2023 Lenovo Legion Pro 7i sports a mild redesign, an Intel Core i9-13900HX CPU and NVIDIA RTX 4070/4080/4090 high watt GPUs. Trend Micro's Premium Security Suite offers complete device and identity protection for up to 10 devices. As ever, the Legion is a popular gaming laptop thanks to good build quality, sane pricing and strong performance. The 16” QHD+ display is back with a 240Hz refresh rate, and the laptop has per key RGB lighting and a front light bar. Lenovo cut a few corners this year to keep the price down, watch to see if those tradeoffs are worth the cost savings.

94% Lenovo Legion Pro 7i Gen 8 Review: a premium gaming laptop
Source: Root Nation English
In short, I will frankly miss the Lenovo Legion Pro 7i Gen 8. It gave me three weeks of real pleasure. It hasn’t been so pleasant to play and work on a laptop for a long time. The Lenovo Legion Pro 7i Gen 8 is a real beast among gaming laptops. Thanks to the built-in components, we can enjoy all current games at high settings. Visually, the restrained, simple design makes it comfortable, and the RGB backlighting is an absolute highlight – you feel like you have a real gaming station on your desktop. As expected, the test results are very good. We have a powerful set of processor, video card, interfaces and connectivity modules. Everything in the Lenovo Legion Pro 7i Gen 8 meets the requirements of the most demanding gamers. An already good package is complemented by a gorgeous bright display with a 240Hz refresh rate, Legion AI Engine+, and, of course, a solid price. Are there any significant disadvantages? Everyone will probably find their own.

90% Lenovo Legion Pro 7i (Gen 8) review: Big power, big price
Source: Gadgetguy English
If you can find it on sale (at the time of writing, it’s heavily discounted to $3,099), the Lenovo Legion Pro 7i is for anyone who is looking for a good, powerful gaming laptop instead of a stationary desktop PC. If you’re looking for portability and subtlety, the Legion can deliver gaming on the go without the look of a gaming laptop. If you miss the sale but still want the Legion, it’s perfect if you have the extra money, but really you’re paying for the convenience of a portable gaming laptop more than the specs. The Lenovo Legion Pro 7i is a fantastic gaming laptop, especially if you’re in the market for a mid-range powerhouse that can run games with an intense load easily and if you can ignore the whirring in the background.

89.5% Lenovo Legion Pro 7 16 (2024) review: Cream of the crop amongst RTX 4080 laptops | Notebookcheck
Power is something the 16-inch laptop doesn’t lack: the GeForce RTX 4080 and Core i9-14900HX achieved their new best results in some of our tests. The rest of the specs are likewise compelling: 32 GB of RAM, Thunderbolt 4, a bright QHD display (Dolby Vision, G-Sync, 240Hz, DCI-P3 coverage). Is this the perfect laptop for gamers and creators?

This gen9 Lenovo Legion Pro 7i is now a mature notebook and arguably one of the most interesting options in the high performance and gaming segment. With an utilitarian design and excellent ergonomics, now paired with a modern IPS display and latest-gen powerful hardware, this attracts lots of attention, especially since Lenovo prices it more aggressively than most of its rivals. But this series fails to meet the mark in two crucial areas: audio quality and especially chassis temperatures under load.

90% This Gaming Laptop's Performance Outpaces Its Price
Source: Make Use Of English
Performance is obviously the main strength of the Lenovo Legion Pro 9i Gen 9. If you’re looking for a laptop that will pull double duty as a mobile workstation during the day and a gaming powerhouse at night, you won’t find many comparable options for the price. The extra 1TB of storage included in the model I reviewed was especially welcome. The downsides are similarly predictable. It’s not the easiest laptop to carry around, and that’s before you factor in the weight of the massive power brick weighing down your bag. The battery life is also par for the course for gaming laptops, which is to say it’s largely there to keep you going when you can’t find anywhere to plug in. Even with those downsides, the Legion Pro 7i remains a fantastic laptop overall, and while the above issues are worth mentioning, they don’t hold it back. This is a great choice if you’re looking for a desktop replacement and don’t want a massive 18-inch display.

Source: Laptop Mag English
Assuming you don’t plan to use the Legion Pro 7i as your travel laptop, there really isn’t much reason not to buy it. It isn’t the priciest gaming laptop out there, and you get quite the bang for your buck with an i9-14900H and RTX 4080 combo. Plus, it has some serious audio power and a fantastic display. If you need to take the Legion Pro 7i out and about, it only weighs 5.76 pounds. Sure, it may not fit in every laptop bag, but unlike its 18-inch counterparts, it should fit in most of them.

Lenovo's Legion Pro 7i Gen 9 16 is an exceptional gaming laptop that delivers quality at nearly every turn. It steps ahead of similarly configured competitors in performance while often undercutting their pricing. All that power is packed into a quality chassis and appears on a sharp and vibrant display that keeps up with fast-paced gaming. The Legion's size and weight are a drawback, but easy to ignore considering the system is basically a highly mobile desktop. Only the lack of Thunderbolt 4, USB4, and biometrics really disappoint, but they don't keep the Legion Pro 7i Gen 9 from earning our Editors' Choice award.

Lenovo Legion Pro 7i (16, Gen 9) review – This 16-inch Laptop Crushes Everything in Its Path
Source: Laptop Media English
If you need a full-blown gaming laptop that isn’t huge, the Lenovo Legion Pro 7i (16″, Gen 9) is one of the best in this category. For its 16-inch form factor, it offers a lot – top-of-the-line hardware and a capable vapor chamber cooling that is doing its job well. The Intel Core i9-14900HX can maintain 3.35 GHz for the P cores and 2.72 GHz for the E cores during max CPU loads which speaks volumes. Even some 18-inchers with the same processor can’t reach such high frequencies. The GeForce RTX 4080 is mentioned as a full-powered version by the manufacturer and it truly is because of the ~175W TGP during gaming. Luckily, the noise in “Performance” mode isn’t that high. You can hear the tons of airflow but the fans aren’t intrusively loud (but not quiet either).

Lenovo Legion Pro 7 Gaming Laptop Review: Performance Trumps All
Source: Hot Hardware English
What’s more impressive, perhaps, is that Lenovo managed to deliver such a solid option in the gaming laptop segment while remaining price competitive, and even sliding in below some of the price points of its competitors. That’s not to say this is inexpensive laptop, with an MSRP of $2,699 as tested. However, the new Lenovo Legion Pro 7 16IRX9H 16-inch gaming laptop delivers solid value in this performance class of machines. If you’re hankering for mobile gaming prowess, or need serious horsepower for content creation while still retaining some level of mobility at under 6lbs, this laptop should be in the running as one of your choices. The Lenovo Legion Pro 7 16IRX9H is a solid gamer-centric laptop and we have no qualms recommending it.

82% Lenovo Legion Pro 7i Gen 9 review: The best there is?
Source: Gadgetbyte Nepal English
The Legion Pro 7i Gen 9 is a machine I loved testing and if you can snag up a bargain like that listing for 2,400 dollars, it’s worth it in every way there is. But not everyone needs such a powerful machine that requires beefy cooling and a lot of power. If you wanna let it rip all six yards though, the Legion Pro 7i is worth getting. The Legion Pro 7i Gen 9 geared with its Core i9 processor and RTX 4090 is the best you can get in Nepal but that title does carry a steep price; quite literally. It's got all the bells and whistles a gamer could dream about like a super fast display, beefy cooling, and all out performance. But, there are still things that Lenovo could build upon it its next iteration like a better webcam, smoother trackpad, or maybe even boomier speakers.

86% Lenovo Legion Pro 7 Review: Packs more than a punch
Source: Think Digit English
The Lenovo Legion Pro 7 is a powerhouse of a laptop with excellent performance across the board. The RTX 4090 and Intel Core i9-14900HX is a potent combination, which gave us some of our best benchmark results to date and are able to consistently churn out top-tier performance. This paired with the 16-inch colour-accurate, QHD+ 16:10 ratio display makes it a top choice for both gamers and creators. Furthermore, you’ve got plenty of I/O options – with the potential of connecting three additional displays or even an external GPU thanks to the Thunderbolt 4 port. All in all, we’d say this gaming laptop packs all the punches. Earlier in the year we tested the Lenovo Legion 9i, which featured a 13th gen Intel Core i9-13980HX paired with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 GPU. It tested pretty well; you can check out our review for it here.

Lenovo Legion Pro 7i Gen 10 (16″ Intel) review – THE FASTEST Gaming Laptop We’ve Ever Tested!
Source: Laptop Media English
The Lenovo Legion Pro 7i Gen 10 (16″ Intel) is an unapologetic gaming powerhouse that masterfully blends aggressive, eye-catching aesthetics with a tangible sense of premium build quality. Its “Eclipse Black” all-aluminum chassis, detailed with striking LED accents and a fingerprint-resistant finish, feels exceptionally solid and well-constructed. Despite housing top-tier components like the Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX and options for NVIDIA’s latest RTX 50-series GPUs (up to a formidable RTX 5090), Lenovo has managed to keep the machine impressively compact and relatively lightweight for its class, making it a surprisingly portable beast. At the forefront of the user experience is the stunning 16-inch 2.5K (2560×1600) OLED display.

The Lenovo Legion Pro 7i is a force of nature. It powers through demanding content creation tasks, handles reviews (like this one), and still lets you jump into a Dune: Awakening Landsraad event without closing tabs—so long as you’re near a wall plug. Gaming laptops are a different beast of a machine. These things are made to perform their best when playing heavy games that output heavy graphics. I love gaming laptops for content creation because that same power does well handling video and photo editing. So something like the Lenovo Legion Pro 7i Gen 10 is perfect for not only gamers but also content creators who game. Like every other gaming laptop, the Lenovo Legion Pro 7i Gen 10 isn’t exactly the most portable thing in the world. The power supply is huge, and the laptop itself isn’t exactly ultrabook light. But this laptop is at least a bit lighter and more moveable than some others. It also just looks good. I know many won’t like that the I/O isn’t at the back, but I like the way it looks.

Lenovo’s Legion Pro 7i was one of the best gaming laptops I ever reviewed - but that was 2 years ago now, and Lenovo have redesigned it in 2025, so let’s see how things have changed in this review.

This Lenovo gaming laptop made me ditch my ThinkPad for work - and it's on sale
Source: Zdnet.com English
The Lenovo Legion Pro 7i feels like an 18-inch gaming laptop in a more sophisticated, 16-inch form. I love the display, the stalwart yet still sleek build, and the hardware that provides what you're looking for in a gaming laptop: performance. In the end, Lenovo employed a thoughtful design here to compensate for the device's weaknesses. It runs hot but has a very effective cooling system. It's incredibly power-hungry, but it charges way faster than you'd expect. The elephant in the room is the sky-high starting price, at $3,500 for the 32GB configuration, going up to $4,000 if you want the top-of-the-line GeForce RTX 5090 GPU. I'd absolutely recommend this laptop to gamers looking for a powerful, out-of-the-box gaming laptop that hits all the right notes, as long as it's within your budget. The Legion Pro 7i is a sophisticated, powerful machine that dares you to run your favorite game at max settings and will ultimately leave you feeling spoiled.

100% Lenovo Legion Pro 7i Ultimate Review: Lenovo’s Best Gaming Laptop Yet
Source: Android Headlines English
Given the price of the Lenovo Legion Pro 7i, it was always going to be a hard recommendation, no matter how good it is. I will say, however, that if money is no object and you want the very best performance that money can buy, then the Legion Pro 7i is the one to get. However, if you’re not a gamer but still need a good graphics card for things like video editing, 3D modeling, and general content creation, I would urge you to check out the many “Creator” laptops that are all the rage these days. ASUS has a few that we just reviewed, which are much cheaper. They are using last-gen graphics, so it’s not quite as powerful, however.

This refreshed 2025 Lenovo Legion Pro 7i chassis comes with some questionable aesthetic and ergonomics changes, but the pairing of the excellent performance capabilities with the premium build quality, the beautiful display, and competitive pricing will most likely put this laptop on many desks (or better yet, stands) this year.

2025 Lenovo Legion Pro 7i Gen 10 Review
Source: Mobile Tech Review English
The Lenovo Legion Pro 7i gets a redesign along with the new Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor and NVIDIA RTX 5070 Ti / 5080 /5090 GPUs. A 240Hz 16” OLED display is standard, as is an aluminum body, per key RGB keyboard and there’s body lighting too. It’s one of the most performance oriented 16” gaming laptops on the market with 175 watt GPUs, powerful CPUs and excellent cooling. Pricing is very competitive.

90% This RTX 5080 gaming laptop is the most fun I've ever had reviewing a PC — here's why
Source: Tom's Guide English
Overall, I adore the 2025 Lenovo Legion Pro 7i. If I was shopping for a gaming laptop for myself this would be a strong contender, though the high price would certainly be an issue. But if you can stomach the price tag and don't mind the disadvantages of owning a gaming laptop, I think this is one of the best of the year so far. I've always loved gaming laptops for their power and portability even as I've bristled at their high price, poor battery life and hefty weights, so it's lovely to see Lenovo pushing the category forward by shipping such elegant, performant machines.

87.5% Lenovo Legion Pro 7i 16 Gen 10 laptop review: 400 W power supply with almost no compromises | Notebookcheck
Instead of going thinner and thinner, the latest Legion Pro 7i 16 is thicker this year to squeeze out more performance from the Intel Arrow Lake and Nvidia Blackwell hardware. Power consumption may be high, but the raw performance is undeniable.

The Lenovo Legion Pro 7i 16 Gen 10 continues its family’s knack for delivering extreme performance in a quality chassis at a competitive price. There are little areas for improvement, and the Lenovo Legion Pro 7i 16 Gen 10 can’t get away from typical gaming laptop issues like weight and limited battery life, but it’s still excellent for what it is.

80% Lenovo Legion Pro 7i (2025) review: Blackwell and Arrow Lake make an impressive debut
Source: Digital Trends English
As the first gaming laptop I’ve reviewed with Intel’s Core Ultra 9 275HX and Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 5080, I have absolutely no complaints. It’s incredibly fast at any task you can throw at it, including its core gaming focus, and it has an excellent OLED display that runs at a fast refresh rate that will leverage Blackwell’s visual enhancement for a phenomenal gaming experience. It’s expansive at $3,399, and assuming that price holds once more configurations and inventory are available, that makes it an expensive laptop. It’s hard to say whether it’s the most competitive option given that there are so few reviews available, but taken on its own, there’s a lot to like for hardcore gamers.

Lenovo Legion Pro 7i gen 10 2025 refresh – OLED, Arrow Lake, RTX 5090
Source: Ultrabook Review English
All in all, I’m excited about this generation of the Legion Pro 7i. Pairing the new chassis with an OLED display and the latest hardware specs and what’s hopefully a properly cooled design is a potential recipe for bringing back the laurels that the Legion 7 Pro series earned 3-4 years ago in the premium segment of performance and gaming notebooks.

Lenovo: Lenovo ("Le" from English legend, novo (Latin) for new) was founded in 1984 as a Chinese computer trading company. As of 2004, the company was the largest laptop manufacturer in China and, after acquiring IBM's PC division in 2005, the fourth largest in the world. In addition to desktops and notebooks, the company manufactures monitors, projectors, servers, etc, and specializes in developing, manufacturing and marketing consumer electronics, personal computers, software, enterprise solutions and related services.

In 2016, the company ranked first in the world in computer sales. It still held it in 2023 with about 23% global market share. Important product lines are Thinkpad, Legion and Ideapad.

In 2011, it acquired a majority stake in Medion AG, a European computer hardware manufacturer. In 2014, Motorola Mobility was purchased, which gave Lenovo a boost in the smartphone market.

These graphics cards are able to play the latest and most demanding games in high resolutions and full detail settings with enabled Anti-Aliasing.

16.00:

This range for display formats was and is a rarity. It is larger than the general standard of 15 inches, but not yet in the range of large workstations. One usually has higher screen resolutions available, but portability suffers from that.

2.8 kg:

With this weight, a laptop is rather heavier than average. Devices in this range shine more with screen size and performance than with mobility.
