Lenovo has introduced a brand-new Chromebook in its Plus series lineup - the Lenovo Chromebook Plus 14 (10th Gen) - powered by the MediaTek Kompanio Ultra 910 processor, featuring a 14-inch OLED touchscreen, integrated AI functions, and support for new ChromeOS-exclusive features.
The device comes in a 16:10 format OLED display (1920×1200) with 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and a peak brightness of 400 nits. Lenovo offers configurations with either 12GB or 16GB of LPDDR5X memory, paired with 128GB or 256GB of UFS storage. The system includes Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and three USB ports - two USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 and one USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 - along with a 3.5mm audio combo jack.
Weighing 1.17kg (non-touch) or 1.26kg (touch variant) and measuring just 15.8mm thick, this Chromebook is pretty portable. The 60Wh battery is rated for up to 17 hours of usage and supports 65W Rapid Charge, reaching 80% charge in about one hour. A 5MP webcam with dual microphones, a physical shutter, and an optional fingerprint reader round out the user-facing hardware.
The Kompanio Ultra's 50 TOPS NPU enables local AI features, including:
- Smart Grouping of tabs and documents based on user

- On-device image editing via the Gallery app, including background removal and sticker creation
- Live handwriting-to-text conversion
- Lens-powered visual search from screenshots
- "Summarize for me" and "Simplify" functions for text clarity and accessibility
The Chromebook Plus 14 also comes with a 12-month trial of Google AI Pro, which gets you access to Gemini in Gmail and Docs, 2TB Google One storage, and NotebookLM integration for writing assistance.
This is the first Chromebook Plus device to feature Dolby Atmos audio, delivered via a quad-speaker setup. It ships in a Seashell color finish with a 160° hinge and optional accessories like the Lenovo Urban Sleeve, 540 USB-C mouse, and analog headset.
The Chromebook Plus will retail in Germany for 649 Euro (~$744), and will be available this week itself. Alternatively, you can check out the Lenovo IdeaPad 3i Chromebook, currently selling for $185 on Amazon.
