Deal | Acer Swift Go 14 OLED price dips to historic low again as Meteor Lake laptop records 20% discount

The latest Acer Swift Go 14 (SFG14-72) has repeatedly gone on sale in the past months. For instance, we reported back in April that the laptop had reached its lowest rate ever on Amazon. The machine has once again reached the same $799.99 record low price, giving users who missed out on the deal earlier another chance to snag the machine.

The Acer Swift Go 14 SKU on sale is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 7 155H CPU, 16 GB of non-expandable LPDDR5X-6400 memory, and 1 TB of updradable storage. Display duties are handled by a 14-inch OLED panel with a 2.8K resolution and an advertised 100% DCI-P3 coverage alongside 400 nits of max brightness. The panel also boasts a 90 Hz refresh rate.

Other worth-mentioning details include a 65 Wh battery, a QHD webcam, and a low weight of 1.33 kg (2.91 lbs).

Our testing of the Swift Go 14 confirmed Acer’s claims regarding the display as the panel delivered almost complete coverage of the sRGB and DCI-P3 gamut alongside ~400 nits of brightness. Coupled with the 90 Hz refresh rate and OLED’s inky blacks, it is safe to say that Acer Swift Go 14 should serve as a solid media machine.

In addition to the display, the Acer Swift Go 14 also impressed us with its portable nature, operating noise, and the performance afforded by the Core Ultrs 7 155H, especially the improved Arc iGPU. 

The laptop also enjoys a varied port selection that includes:

• Two Type-A ports
• A microSD slot
• A 3.5 mm jack
• An HDMI 2.1 out

Sadly, the battery life of the Acer Swift Go 14 is good but not great as the notebook only lasted for 8 hours in our Wi-Fi websurfing test.

Simply put, the Acer Swift Go 14 is a great value at $799.99 and would make for a solid purchase.
