Though it might not be the prettiest laptop on the block, the Acer Swift Go 14 is a capable mid-range machine, perfect for no-nonsense users who want to get right down to business. It’ll see you through an entire work day without slowing down, heating up, or needing a charge, for that matter. I only wish it was a lot cheaper.

This lightweight laptop brings a good level of spec and a bright OLED screen while managing to keep its price at a reasonable level. It's an attractive machine in a compact package and should do well for most image editing and design tasks, though the lack of a dedicated graphics chip will force some to look elsewhere.

Considering the price of the Go 14 and what you get for your money it feels a little churlish to pick any holes in the thing. To get this much performance, display quality, storage and memory for £1,000 is a very impressive achievement. Yes, it looks a little plain next to the Asus Zenbook 14X and the OLED display could be more colour-accurate but the former is a matter of taste and the latter can be improved by some judicious recalibration. I like this laptop; I like it a lot.

Laptops, it turns out, don’t really always need to be exciting, and the Acer Swift Go 14 is proof of that. We’re so used to laptop manufacturers one-upping one another in design that we’ve kind of been conditioned to just expect that as a mark of a good laptop. Not that we shouldn’t also value a brilliant design and gorgeous aesthetics, of course, but we do sometimes forget that there are a lot of users out there who don’t need a stunning notebook to showcase to their colleagues and the strangers at their usual coffee spot. And this laptop is a good reminder of that. Bringing things back down to Earth, the Swift Go 14 isn’t one for frills. In fact, its plain-looking chassis makes it easy to be overlooked. But a closer look reveals a capable machine that will see you through your daily productivity tasks without breaking a sweat.

The Acer Swift Go is definitely a worthy mobile device for working on the move or in a hybrid format. It’s compact, lightweight, beautiful (especially in bronze) and has everything you need for modern work or leisure. The first thing to praise this laptop is its screen. The 14-inch WQXGA+ OLED with wide viewing angles and incredible colour saturation is a paradise for visuals, content creators, and creative professionals. After it, it’s a little sad to go back to my 14-inch, but still IPS. It’s also worth noting the laptop’s performance, which is backed by a 13th-generation i7 processor, 16GB of RAM, integrated Intel graphics, and an efficient cooling system. Of course, it’s not a gaming machine, but it handles workflows, browsers, and graphic editors with a solid A. And it will do so for years to come.

So, should you buy the Acer Swift Go 14? I return to the point I made at the start of this article. It really depends what's important to you, personally. Maybe you're fussy about aesthetics, and think that if you're spending around a grand on a laptop then it should look expensive. Perhaps you're very particular about having a solid, comfortable keyboard that you can type on for hours every day. Or you might feel that not having a touchscreen, a biometric login, high-quality speakers or day-and-a-half long battery life are red lines that can't be crossed. In which case, I'd suggest you look elsewhere. That said, I think the Acer Swift Go 14 has an awful lot going for it. If you're primarily looking for a fast working laptop that's light and compact enough for travel, and which has a beautiful screen and superior webcam to boot, you'll find it offers exceptional value. I'm really impressed.

The Acer Swift 14 Go may be part of a new sub-series, but this is classic Acer design, in a mostly positive sense. For sensible money you can get a seriously performant, portable and decent-looking laptop that will last through a full day of work. And Acer doesn't charge obscene amounts if you want to bump up the spec, as Microsoft does for its own otherwise lovely Laptop Go line. A few issues arise when you get to the higher-end models, as tested here, where some of the concessions to value start to stick out, like the plastic touchpad and bland design. I'd have liked to see better.

The Acer Swift Go 14 is a practical, portable, high-performance laptop. You could easily pay a good £200/$200 more and end up with lesser performance and a less colour-rich screen. It’s not quite as much of a star when you look more at how the Swift Go 14 feels to use than how it performs. The touchpad feels cheap, the keyboard backlight looks a bit basic and the speakers lack any real bass, undermining the entertainment potential of the ultra-bold OLED screen. All these factors mean the $1000-plus model I reviewed can’t compete with a machine like the Asus Zenbook 15 OLED, that only costs a bit more but offers quality across the board. The same applies up against the excellent MacBook Air M2 as well. As such, I feel I’d be more inclined to recommend the lower-spec Swift Go 14 variants at around $850. However, this family is diverse enough not to be able to let me recommend those outright based on my experiences with this super-powered model.

Priced at $1049.99 (available directly from Acer in the US), you get a lot of value for your money with the Swift Go 14. It combines powerful performance with a high-quality display, generous storage and a good range of ports. The Acer Swift Go 14 is also an affordable PC alternative to the MacBook Air. You can work just as effectively and creatively on it, and it’s several steps ahead in computing power. No other company has dared to put a processor focused on performance in such a small form factor. However, cooling and energy efficiency may still weigh in favour of the MacBook and some other PC competitors – you can see how rivals compare in our list of the best laptops. Sadly, this exact model is currently not available in the UK.

The Acer Swift Go 14 is a surprising machine. Its performance, display, and battery life leave little to be desired from a device at this price. You might think it’d be cheaper given the “Go” in the name, or thinner given its close competition with thin-and-light laptops, but it manages to strike a decent enough balance between its capabilities and hardware to really stand out as an exceptional value.

I went back-and-forth with Acer about the color accuracy I was seeing with the review unit. It’s highly unusual for an OLED display to demonstrate inaccurate colors — in fact, the Swift Go 14 is the first I’ve seen with a DeltaE of over 2.0. But I do believe it’s an issue with the review unit, given that Acer’s testing of other units showed much better results. That leaves us with a well-priced laptop that’s extremely fast, with very few glaring weaknesses. It’s battery life is a little less than average, but you pay a price for a 45-watt CPU and a power-hungry OLED display. All in all, assuming that my review unit was an outlier, the Swift Go 14 is an easy laptop to recommend.

Coming away from the Acer Swift Go 14’s performance metrics had me certain it would be a high-end laptop for those willing to spend lots of money. Picture how my eyes widened in shock when I first looked at its price. With its phenomenal display and excellent productivity scores, how can it only be $1,049?! I couldn’t believe a laptop this good could be so cheap. But its low price is reflected in some unfortunate caveats, like a hot underside and subpar battery life sinking beneath our averages. These issues are relatively minor in the face of what Acer’s latest accomplishes, but if you want something that lasts longer, we recommend the LG Gram 16 with its 13 hours of battery life. Otherwise, the Swift Go 14 solidifies itself as one of the best laptops of 2023.

Acer is getting in hot with its Swift Go series. Both the 16-inch version and this 14-inch model are incredibly good offers. In particular, the Swift Go 14 (SFG14-71) is a heck of a device with a ton of power. Even its integrated GPU will let you play games like CS:GO competitively. Not to mention features like the QHD Web camera, fingerprint reader, and the rather wide port selection. With two Thunderbolt 4 connectors, you should be able to easily attach an external GPU. Acer Swift Go 14 (SFG14-71)’s OLED panel has a 2.8K resolution, comfortable viewing angles, and a fantastic contrast ratio. Thanks to the OLED technology you get true blacks, which help the image pop really well. This is further enhanced by the high maximum brightness and the support of HDR. We should also mention the fact that this display comes with full DCI-P3 coverage.

The Acer Swift Go may not look like an exciting laptop on the surface, but I’m very impressed that it’s packing an OLED display and high-performance processor at a very reasonable price. I’m worried about potential throttling issues, considering the power of the processor and the laptop’s slender design, but I can’t be sure about this until I can start benchmarking the laptop. Either way, this is certainly a laptop to keep an eye on in 2023.

At 14.95mm thick and weighing 1.2kg, the Swift 14 looks to be a great choice for design-conscious users who need portability on their side. However, we haven't had chance to delve into its performance as yet, so whether the Swift 14 will come as highly recommended as its Swift 5 predecessor will have to wait for our full review. Prices will start from $1,299 in the US and €1,699 in Europe - we are awaiting UK pricing and will update this piece with them as soon as we can.

In fact, for a simple laptop that’s built with an aluminium chassis, the mid-spec option with the Ryzen 5 7530U and 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD is the best offer her. You’ll definitely be able to find cheaper options such as the Acer Aspire Vero 14 or the Asus Vivobook 15X, but then you’re giving up the metal build that the Swift Go 14 boasts. Those also tend to offer 8GB of RAM only with 16GB options pushing them back into the same price category that the Swift Go 14 occupies. The Swift Go 14 might not win any awards for design or innovation, but what it does offer is a decent, no nonsense thin and light laptop at a very good price (for the Ryzen 5 option with 16GB of RAM). I see it being a great option for college and university students in particular who are looking for a laptop for school, but honestly just about anyone would find it a good enough machine for day-to-day use.

It's really hard to find fault with the Acer Swift Go 14 as it does everything you'd expect from a thin and light laptop, and this is before you even consider the price. At Rs. 59,999 (less during sales), you get a well-designed compact laptop with good performance and long battery life. The speakers are possibly the only thing that's a little underwhelming, and the wobbly power button feels a little out of place in an otherwise well put-together laptop (or it could just be our unit). The Swift Go 14 is definitely worth recommending if you're looking for a compact Windows laptop under Rs. 60,000 that doesn't compromise on battery life.

The Acer Swift Go 14 is a good ultraportable laptop for every day use with a balanced configuration for any task that does not require a powerful graphics subsystem. The laptop is equipped with a high-quality IPS display with pleasant colors, a good set of connectors, a comfortable backlit keyboard, an efficient cooling system, and a high-quality webcam, which is especially important in the age of video conferencing. All of this is packed into a high-quality metal case with a calm design. Although there are still some complaints about the Acer Swift Go 14. The touchpad is small, and the battery life does not allow you to leave the power supply at home. And among the non-critical wishes, it is worth mentioning the tight hinges, which make it impossible to open the laptop with one hand.

The Acer Swift Go 14 OLED is a nifty value-for-money 14-inch notebook that offers an appealing OLED display, and enough grunt to take on everyday productivity. The design and chassis aren’t the most premium, but mostly look and feel pleasant, especially for something that’s priced at Rs 60,000. Battery life could be better, but in return you get a fairly powerful 12-core H-series Core i5 CPU. Besides, it doesn’t weigh a lot, which means carrying the charging brick with you shouldn’t be a hassle.

Swift Go 14 to szybki, produktywny laptop z mocną specyfikacją. Klawiatura i łączność są bardzo dobre. Trudno jednak znaleźć mi grupę docelową dla komputera. Mało solidna konstrukcja, słaby touchpad, brak dedykowania dla grafików, graczy, a nawet miłośników multimediów powodują, że można wybrać lepsze lub tańsze laptopy. There’s not much that this laptop doesn’t do at least competently well. So, if you need a portable PC for work, study, or general home use, this is a strong option. Or, if you’re like me, someone who likes playing games, but PC isn’t your main platform, you’ll find a solid companion here. As I mentioned at the start of this review, the consumer PC industry is in the midst of an early refresh cycle. Laptops launched only earlier this year will soon be “obsolete” in the coming months thanks to chipmakers’ scramble to capitalise on the AI market. That does mean good prices on previous-gen hardware though. At the time of publishing, I saw Harvey Norman selling this laptop for less than $1,200, which is great value. If the promises of better graphics and battery efficiency have you interested, it might be worth waiting just a bit longer.

To wrap things up, the 2024 edition of the Acer Swift Go 14 is a superb ultrabook that comes with a fast processor, a gorgeous display, and a long-lasting battery life. Despite all this, I feel like there’s a better choice out there. Let’s be honest, most people looking for a thin and light everyday laptop like students, administrative workers, or office professionals aren’t really pushing their laptops to the max. Neither do they even care about things like an AI processor or a faster GPU. This is why I think you should be going with last year’s model for better value instead since that’s available for just under 1 lakh rupees in Nepal right now. After all, it’s got a similar design, an identical OLED display, comparable CPU performance, and good enough battery life. Yes, you will be missing out on that powerful Arc graphics and all the AI stuff, but its sheer value for money is absolutely unbeatable for most folks.

Yielding stunning productivity metrics thanks to its Intel Ultra Core 7 155H processor, the Acer Swift Go 14 is a great pick for people with a need for speed. Beyond that, its list of accomplishments is long: A sleek aluminum chassis, punchy audio, satisfying keyboard, bright panel, tons of ports, crisp webcam, and fast SSD speeds. Its $799 price tag is hard to scoff at. It’s far from perfect, with a lackluster IPS panel, sluggish trackpad, and subpar battery life leaving much to be desired. If you’re willing to spend extra for a couple more hours of longevity and a vivid OLED panel, we recommend the Lenovo Slim 7i (Gen 9). Otherwise, the Acer Swift Go 14 is a fantastic productivity laptop for those looking to spend under $1,000.

The Swift Go 14 is a fast productivity laptop that’s at the upper end of its Core Ultra 7 chipset. It has a good IPS display, but that’s no longer a hardcore standard at these prices. And the keyboard and connectivity were very good. That makes it an OK laptop but one that doesn’t really stand out. The problem is that I found some flaws that make it hard for me to recommend it. First, the chassis was wobbly, which makes me question its overall build quality. Second, the touchpad was worse than most and uncomfortable to use. The bottom line is that you can choose some other laptops for the same or lower cost that are a lot better.

So, that’s why I think you should probably skip the Acer Swift Go 14 ‘SFG14-72T’. It’s not as good as the ‘SFG14-73’ OLED model while being nearly just as expensive and it’s not as value for money as last year’s configuration. The newer Meteor Lake chips bring improved graphical performance and better efficiency which are both very important things for an ultrabook. But paying such a premium just for those two features while losing out on a gorgeous OLED display doesn’t make sense for most folks. The Acer Swift Go 14 for 2024 is a great ultrabook with a compact and lightweight design and plenty of power. However, you might end up choosing the wrong and taking a severe hit to display and battery life if not careful. All configurations have plenty of connectivity options and a high quality webcam but only select ones offer the complete package.

Acer might not be the very first brand you think of when buying a laptop, but maybe it should be. Or at least it should be in your consideration list. It’s true that the Swift Go 14 isn’t the most high-end luxurious model you can buy, but it’s not trying to be either. It’s a travel workhorse. Strong enough to get you through everyday tasks, whether that’s Office productivity apps or checking email, and light enough not weigh you down. It’s also hard not to appreciate the generous port selection, as that means you can ditch the dongles and just worry about bringing the charger. But that might be my favorite bit about the Swift Go 14. For $800 you get a laptop that goes and goes for days, so honestly you may not even have to worry about bringing that charger after all. And thanks to USB-C charging, there’s a decent chance you could replace it if you absolutely had to anyway.

Intel’s Core Ultra 7 processor propelled the Swift Go 14 to the top of our performance charts, especially in the graphics tests, thanks to its new integrated Arc graphics. An aluminum build, a snappy keyboard, a bright screen, and a broad port selection also earn it points. Reasonable pricing naturally goes a long way, too. However, this Swift Go's performance comes with a serious fan noise penalty; if you’re looking for a silent-running laptop, this isn’t it. We also wished Acer included better speakers. The Asus Zenbook 14 OLED remains our top ultraportable pick for most users, but this Acer and its Core Ultra chip make a fine combo if you’re seeking maximum performance on the go.

The Acer Swift Go 14 is a great little ultraportable for the price. While the display isn't amazing and the speakers are a bit weak and tinny, for $999 you're getting what you're paying for. You're also getting a useful port array, a satisfying keyboard and plenty of speed for work and some light gaming. And while the 10-hour tested battery life isn't amazing, it's good enough that you're often safe to carry this laptop to the office or coffee shop without having to worry about lugging a charger, too. But as far as the big new banner Meteor Lake features go, I'm a little disappointed. Partly that's because there just isn't much useful or fun stuff you can do with the Meteor Lake NPU at this point, at least not any better than you could by just opening a browser and firing up CatGPT or whatever suits your fancy.

It’s all going to be about the price. Acer says the new Meteor Lake Go 14 will start at £899 but doesn’t say if that’s for the OLED model. Assuming little change from the current Swift Go 14 OLED range that would suggest a UK price of around £1,000 for the 16GB OLED model and £1,100 for the 32GB version, which would make the Acer £250 cheaper than the 16GB Zenbook, which Asus is advertising for £1,299. The Zenbook delivers a faster, more colour-accurate display with a touchscreen interface and stylus, better battery life and a superior speaker system. The Swift Go counters with better overall performance, a brighter display, faster SSD and a higher definition webcam. Neither machine is likely to disappoint, although the Acer should offer better value for money, which was what we liked most about the 2023 model and the 2022 Swift 3 before it. The increased performance from Intel’s latest silicon, especially when it comes to graphics, is most welcome, though, whichever one you opt for.

The Acer Swift Go 14 is a marvel of great design choices, a beautiful OLED display, a great webcam, excellent specs, and a solid port selection. And this isn't even counting the price point, which is stunning in its own right. But when you factor in all the features, you have a laptop that thinks it's an Ultrabook but without the overinflated MSRP.

In many respects, the new Acer Swift Go 14 is a better showcase for the Core Ultra 7 than the Asus Zenbook 14 OLED. It’s faster across most productivity and creative benchmarks and it makes more of the Arc iGPU when it comes to gaming. The OLED screen is fantastic and neither the ergonomics nor the battery let the side down. It’s a great laptop if you want a little more power in a portable package. You could argue that its Asus rival has the edge on the overall experience, matching the Swift Go 14 for its screen and feature set, but on a slimmer, quieter device with a better keyboard. However, the Acer is substantially cheaper at a £899 starting price compared with the £1,099 of the Asus, so it’s easy to forgive its minor failings and live with its underwhelming keyboard and slight lack of style.

With exact specs and prices still TBC, it’s tricky to say how the Acer Swift Go 14 stacks up against its ultralight competition. There will be no shortage of rivals launching in early 2024, now that Intel has officially launched its Core Ultra chips, and the MacBook Air continues to loom large over the class. I’m a big fan of the Acer’s multi-purpose touchpad, though, and the OLED screen option is especially easy on the eyes. If it can deliver on its battery life claims (and those AI enhancements start to show their usefulness) I could see it being a very capable machine for on-the-go working.

The Acer Swift Go 14 helps usher in the age of AI PCs, and it does so beautifully. Where Intel’s integrated graphics were disappointing in the past, the integrated Arc GPU handles most tasks like a champ. At the same time, the NPU allows both the CPU and GPU to hand off tasks so they can focus on creating a premium experience for users. The ability to edit 4K videos smoothly, unplugged, and render them quickly on the Acer Swift Go 14 was a revelation. This performance, coupled with its generous 16GB of RAM and 1TB SSD, positions it as a compelling affordable alternative to the MacBook Air M2. Yes, the MacBook Air M2 might boast longer battery life (14 hours), but the Swift Go delivers a respectable all-day usage while offering several crucial advantages. At $999, the Swift Go 14 undercuts the MacBook Air M2 by a significant $800 for the same 16GB and 1TB configuration.

The Swift Go 14 is an odd choice for a launch partner, although I suppose the laptop's dull design puts the focus on Intel's new Meteor Lake CPU. The generic Swift Go 14 is like the background that AI blurred to highlight the laptop's processor. The immediate benefits of the Core Ultra 7 are its efficiency that resulted in a long battery life, and the new integrated Arc graphics are a clear step up from Intel's previous integrated GPU -- along with modest gains in application performance. As software developers begin to update or introduce new applications with AI features that can take greater advantage of the Meteor Lake NPU, the allure of the Swift Go 14 will grow. But by then, I'm afraid there will be more alluring laptops from which to choose.

The Acer Swift Go 14 model I received for the purposes of this review is a great little ultraportable for the price.

The Acer Swift Go 14 with Intel Core Ultra 7 155H is a competent and well-rounded laptop sold at an affordable price. Its dull design is made up for with strong connectivity, a pleasant keyboard, and useful extras like a 1440p webcam. Intel’s 14th-gen processor doesn’t greatly outperform the 13th-gen hardware but remains strong in multicore tests and comes paired with improved integrated graphics, though battery life remains a problem. The Go 14’s overall performance, alongside a price cut from Acer, makes it a good choice for those looking to buy a portable yet speedy laptop at a sub-$1,000 price.

In terms of day-to-day performance, I worked on the Swift Go 14 for a week, and I can say that it's a snappy, responsive, and agile laptop, especially for the price. The Intel Core Ultra 7 processor easily bumps this laptop up to compete with higher-priced machines, and future-proofs it with AI readiness. The Swift Go 14 brings solid performance, a crisp display, and useful media playback controls that I can't stop thinking about, resulting in a well-rounded and capable laptop. For those interested in one of the better configurations of the Swift Go 14, Acer says Costco will offer a WUXGA touch display model with an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor, 16GB of RAM, and 1TB of storage for $799 starting in May. You'll just have to be a little more patient.

Compared to the last year's version, the current Acer Swift Go 14 has been improved in almost everything, from performance to design features such as more comfortable hinges and a larger touchpad. The laptop is equipped with high-performance hardware, has a bright OLED screen with a refresh rate of 90 Hz and a sufficient set of modern connectors, with high-speed Wi-Fi 7 and a high-quality webcam to boot. The design is hardly original, but the case is reliable and practical. We didn't like the cooling system, which is too noisy under load, and the mediocre quality of the speakers.

While the AI branding is a bit much, and the plastic display bezel is a bit of a bummer, the Swift 14 AI -- with its Intel Core Ultra Series 2 processor that delivers a next-gen NPU and incredible battery life -- is a good, if basic example of a Copilot Plus PC. The problem for Acer is the Asus Zenbook S 14 supplies a superior OLED display inside a lighter and more rigid Ceraluminum shell for just $100 more. Advantage: Asus.

The Acer Swift Go 14 AI is a solid step up over its predecessors, offering noticeable improvements across the board. Thanks to the new integrated Intel Arc GPU, graphics performance has also improved significantly, offering performance close to that of entry level dedicated GPUs like the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2050. The accompanying 14-inch WQXGA+ OLED display is fantastic, and excellent for both content creation and consumption. At Rs. 84,990 as of writing this review, we don’t see any reason why one shouldn’t consider the Acer Swift Go 14 AI if they’re in the market for a thin and light laptop. The Swift lineup of laptops from Acer has always been a staple in the mainstream and thin & light laptop market.

The Acer Swift Go 14 (2024) is a compact laptop suitable for a wide range of uses. It’s ideal for both work and play, and it’s not just a typical “office” laptop limited to a word processor and browser. This is a genuinely powerful device that you’ll enjoy using for gaming, development, and video rendering. Moreover, the Swift Go 14 features an outstanding (there’s no other word for it!) OLED display with high resolution, making it perfect for photo editing, watching movies, and more. Among the other advantages are the stylish partially metal chassis, flawless build quality, minimal weight, an excellent keyboard and a comfortable touchpad, a decent 1440p webcam by laptop standards, DTS:X audio effects, stable performance under load, a wide range of ports (including an SD card slot), and fast 100W charging via USB-C.

At a starting price of Rs 89,999, the Acer Swift Go 14 (2024) is a versatile machine. On the flip side, the lack of upgradability and its subpar speakers are the key drawbacks. That said, it’s a well-built laptop featuring a metal chassis and a compact and lightweight design, enhancing its portability. The device is powered by the Core Ultra 5 125H with AI capabilities, and while it may not offer top-notch performance for its price segment, it efficiently handles daily tasks, including full HD video editing. The paired integrated Arc graphics are also sufficient for casual gaming, including some older AAA titles.

The Acer Swift Go 14 is a lesson in well-chosen solutions. The OLED display is excellent, there’s plenty of storage space and the processor is really fast. The fact that it doesn’t cost more is impressive. The graphics performance isn’t for serious gaming, but it’s still fast enough for any task you might encounter in the office. And also for editing those vacation videos after hours. A touchscreen would have been the icing on the cake. But at this price, there’s nothing to complain about. Absolutely nothing.

The 2024 Acer Swift Go 14 doesn’t aspire to beat premium productivity laptops with sleek designs and displays fit for fine art, but it doesn’t hold out on essential design choices, either. This $900 laptop has a thin metal chassis, a great keyboard and trackpad, a 2K webcam and a processor that easily beats others in its price range. The 1,920 x 1,200p IPS display is bright and color accurate, but it might not have enough pixels for anyone doing delicate visual work. An OLED display with full coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut and HDR certification would be a better pick, and several laptops like the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x, MacBook Air 13, and Asus Zenbook 14X OLED cram a display like it without costing a whole lot more than the Swift Go 14.

The Acer Swift Go 14 gets some minor demerits for its display's modest color-gamut coverage, the learning curve of its keyboard, and the general design blandness. But behind that lies a potent work machine that keeps up with the competition and delivers decent battery life. With speedy internals and plenty of ports, this machine is ready to help you get things done. And at $899, it’s a marked value that will be even more compelling during Prime Day and Black Friday sales. However, if you're after a more luxe experience, consider either the Lenovo Yoga 9i 14 Gen 9 or the Asus Zenbook 14 OLED Touch (UM3406) as alternatives.

Qualcomm Adreno X1-85 3.8 TFLOPS: An integrated graphics adapter that four Qualcomm Snapdragon X processors feature, as of Sep 2024. It has 1,536 unified shaders at its disposal that are said to run at up to 1,250 MHz. The underlying architecture is reportedly in many respects the same as what was used in the Adreno 730. While thankfully faster than the aging Intel Iris Xe (96 EUs), the Adreno fails to match the Radeon 780M meaning Baldur's Gate 3, a triple-A title released in 2023, is barely playable at 1080p on low with 23 fps on average. Triple-A games of 2024 fare even worse, in no small part due to Qualcomm's subpar graphics drivers.
AMD Radeon 760M: Integrated graphics card in the Ryzen 7040 mobile series APUs based on the RDNA3 architecture with 8 of the 12 CUs (= 512 shaders) and a clock speed of up to 2.8 GHz.

14.00:
14 inch display size represents a middle ground between the small subnotebook formats and the screens of the standard 15 inch laptops.
The reason for the popularity of mid-sized displays is that this size is reasonably easy on the eyes, provides good resolutions with usable detail sizes, yet does not consume too much power and the devices can still be reasonably compact.
In the past, 14-inch devices were very rare, but now they are the standard for laptops after the 15-inchers.
