Schenker has introduced the Key 18 Pro, which is a massive 18-inch laptop that weighs almost 9 lbs and is 1.14 inches thick. It’s supposed to offer a lot of performance thanks to an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX as well as an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU with 24GB GDDR7 VRAM and a TGP of 175 watts including Dynamic Boost.
When both the CPU and GPU are under load, the behemoth of a laptop can peak at up to 285 watts for a short period of time, and then throttle to a sustainable 250 watts. In order to manage the heat, Schenker uses PTM7950 thermal compound for both the processor and graphics card. The Key 18 Pro also sports two fans and outlets with 282 cooling fins.
Furthermore, the 18-inch laptop can be equipped with up to 256GB of memory for an extra charge of €730. With a total of four M.2 slots, one of which uses the latest PCIe 5.0 interface, the machine can be upgraded to 32TB of internal mass storage in total.
All configurations come with an 18-inch IPS display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, 500 nits of brightness and full DCI-P3 colors. However, buyers can choose between a 240Hz QHD panel and a 200Hz 4K screen.
The Key 18 Pro further offers a speaker system with five drivers, including a 4W subwoofer. A 5 MP webcam and keyboard with RGB backlight are onboard as well. The connectivity options are also quite comprehensive, as the Schenker Key 18 Pro sports two 2.5GbE, two Thunderbolt 5, two USB-A ports with 10 Gbit/s as well as HDMI 2.1.
