The Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 has just been officially unveiled, and today Zotac is already presenting the probably most compact version of the new graphics card thus far. The Zotac GeForce RTX 5060 Solo is expected to be smaller than most other GPUs due to its singular fan. However, the graphics card still needs two slots, and Zotac has yet to confirm the exact dimensions.
Considering that the dual-fan Zotac GeForce RTX 5060 Gaming already is relatively compact with a length of 8.7 inches, the Solo variant should be even smaller. For comparison, the Zotac GeForce RTX 4060 Solo measures 6.4 x 4.6 x 1.6 inches. Accordingly, the graphics card comfortably fits into the vast majority of modern PC cases, including most SFF cases. That said, neither the press release nor the product page provides any further details regarding the graphics card's technical specifications.
Since this won’t be an overclocked version, Zotac will likely use the regular clock speeds, which means that the 3,840 CUDA cores should have a base clock of 2,280MHz and boost clock speeds of up to 2,497MHz. The GeForce RTX 5060 further features 8GB GDDR7 VRAM with a memory bandwidth of 448 GB/s, three DisplayPort 2.1b ports and one HDMI 2.1b port.
Moreover, the graphics card has a TDP of 145 watts and is powered by a single 8-pin connector. How well Zotac manages to cool the GPU with just one fan should be revealed by independent reviews. The compact GeForce RTX 5060 Solo is expected to hit the market in May, but Zotac has not confirmed its official MSRP yet. Other GeForce RTX 5060 GPUs will reportedly start at prices of $299.
