Lenovo has introduced a new SFF PC with an affordable price tag and decent specs for the money, the ThinkCentre neo 55s Gen 6. This small computer can be equipped with up to a Ryzen 7 APU. Lenovo didn't specify the processor options in the press release, but the spec sheet available in the company's database suggests that Ryzen AI 5 330 and Ryzen AI 7 350 will be offered from the AI 300 lineup.
Users will have the option to pair the APU with either the AMD Radeon RX 6400 or Nvidia RTX 3050 desktop GPU. Both of these GPUs are entry-level options, but they will make the ThinkCentre neo 55s Gen 6 capable of handling low to moderate GPU-intensive tasks.
The company also highlights that the small PC can be configured with up to 64 GB of DDR5 RAM through the two UDIMM slots. As for storage, the SFF computer has two M.2 slots, capable of holding up to 1 TB SSD each (1 TB Crucial P310 curr. $69.99 on Amazon). While the system features a compact 8.2-liter chassis, there's a decent selection of ports, including:
- 2x 5 Gbps USB Type-A
- 1x 5 Gbps USB Type-C
- 2x USB 2.0 Type-A
- 2x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A
- 1x HDMI 2.1
- 1x DisplayPort 1.4
- 1x RJ45 Ethernet
Among the other highlights of the SFF PC is a built-in 260 W PSU, WiFi 7, and support for a 3.5-inch HDD. As for the price, the ThinkCentre neo 55s Gen 6 is now available with a starting price of $479. Check out the video below to learn more.
