Asus has partnered with AMD and Call of Duty devs to launch a limited-edition TUF Gaming Radeon RX 9070 XT themed around Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. The collaboration was first revealed during the Call of Duty NEXT event in Las Vegas on September 30, ahead of the game’s global debut on November 14, 2025. The card carries a custom design that highlights the Black Ops insignia and signature orange accents, instantly recognizable to fans of the series. Each unit will include a digital copy of the standard PC version of the game and will be available through select retailers worldwide.
The Call of Duty Black Ops 7 Special Edition graphics card is based on AMD’s latest RDNA 4 architecture, paired with 16 GB of GDDR6 memory. It supports AMD’s FSR 4 upscaling, which uses machine learning to sharpen visuals and improve frame rates across more than 85 titles. For display options, Asus includes DisplayPort 2.1 outputs capable of handling high refresh rate monitors and ultra-high resolutions.
Asus has refined cooling and durability in this model with its triple 11-blade Axial-tech fans that push consistent airflow through an optimized heatsink. The fans can completely stop during light workloads to maintain silent operation, while wide vents on the aluminum backplate help heat exit more efficiently. The card also includes a Dual BIOS switch, allowing users to switch between performance and quiet modes without additional software. Asus GPU Tweak III software adds another layer of control, letting users fine-tune settings, monitor temperatures, and adjust fan speeds directly from their desktop.
Instead of using regular thermal paste, Asus uses a phase-change thermal pad that (supposedly) melts under heat to fill microscopic gaps between the GPU and cooler. The metal exoskeleton provides additional rigidity, while dual-ball fan bearings extend the fan’s lifespan. A built-in GPU holder keeps the card level inside a case, preventing sag over time. These design touches make the TUF Gaming line appealing to builders who care about both performance and longevity.
While this special edition shares the same core hardware as the standard TUF Gaming RX 9070 XT, it stands out through its exclusivity and visual flair. Reports suggest the Taiwanese brand will produce only around 1,000 units globally, which naturally adds to its collectibility. The bundle with the game itself sweetens the offer for fans who were already planning to play Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 on PC. However, the limited supply also means higher prices and possible availability issues in many markets.
