Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is currently scheduled to launch on November 14 across all platforms. A recent beta gave players a first-hand look at what Activision and Treyarch have been working on, and fans can not wait for the full launch. However, a new rumor suggests that they might not have to wait quite as long, as Black Ops 7 could release a week earlier than expected.
The rumor comes from well-known Call of Duty leaker TheGhostOfHope, who recently claimed that there’s a chance Black Ops 7’s release date could be moved up by a week. While he didn’t share specific proof or evidence, his track record with previous leaks has been fairly accurate.
"Seems like there’s some evidence of a potential release date change for Black Ops 7 where it could move up a week. Not sure I buy it yet but would be a pleasant surprise if it happens."
Interestingly, this rumor aligns with a few other hints. Last week, Black Ops 6 received its Chucky crossover event on October 18, which was originally planned to go live around October 24-25 and end one day before Black Ops 7’s current release date, November 14. Instead, the event is now set to end a week earlier than the new rumored release date.
At the moment, nothing has been confirmed officially, so it’s best to take the rumor with a pinch of salt. If it turns out to be accurate, we can expect an official announcement sometime next week.
