Call of Duty fans will soon get the chance to try the upcoming Black Ops 7 through an open beta, which is scheduled to kick off next week. While details about the beta were already known, Activision has now confirmed that, alongside the regular multiplayer mode, the popular Zombies mode will be a part of the beta.
The announcement came through an official Call of Duty blog post, where Activision revealed that players will be able to test the brand-new version of Zombies. The blog discussed several details about what Zombies will offer, what’s new, and what fans should expect.
In the beta, players will be able to dive into the Zombies Survival Mode, where you and your teammates (if you don’t decide to go in solo) will have to survive against waves of zombies while staying within the boundaries of Vandorn Farm, a brand new map designed specifically for the mode.
In any case, the Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 open beta will officially kick off on Sunday, October 5 at 10 AM PT for all platforms. It will conclude after 72 hours, on Wednesday, October 8 at 10 AM PT.
However, those who pre-order the game or are Xbox Game Pass members will be able to dive into the beta early, on October 2 at 10 AM PT, thanks to the early access perk. This will give them three extra days to enjoy the multiplayer and Zombies mode.
