While Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 fans who miss the game can grab the renewed Xbox 360 version off Amazon for just $23.03 thanks to a 44% discount, they can also wait for the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 to arrive, since Activision has just confirmed that three of the 18 maps to be included in it will be Black Ops 2 remastered maps.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is set to launch in less than two months, and today's multiplayer trailer takes gamers one more step closer to next month's open beta. A third official trailer for Black Ops 7 is expected for September 24, with a focus on the Black Ops 7 Zombies mode. Back to today's trailer, which is the second one for this upcoming iteration in the Call of Duty franchise, it includes explosions, executions, airstrikes, collaterals, as well as the aforementioned set of launch maps, the new Overclock system, weapons, field upgrades, and so on.
The list of available game modes will include old and iconic ones such as Team Deathmatch, Domination, Kill Confirmed, Search and Destroy, Gunfight, Hardpoint, Control, as well as the new Overload mode. This mode is a push-and-pull 6 vs. 6 respawn engagement where the teams aim to overload the enemy control zones with the help of a device that spawns on the map and must be carried to the enemy zones. Basically, Overload is a modern twist on the old-school capture the flag mode.
Those who pre-order the game will get early beta access on October 2. After three days of early beta, the open beta stage will follow and will last for another three days. The launch date of the game is set for November 14.
