After a brief tease on October 21, Seiko has officially pulled the wraps off its trio of 2025 Asia-Pacific limited edition Prospex diver’s watches - SPB539, SPB541, and SPB543 - each powered by the tried-and-true 6R35 automatic movement, and designed around dramatic natural landscapes across Asia and Oceania. This will be a focused, region-specific release with just 5,500 pieces in total.
Each watch’s design is very nature-inspired:
- The SPB541 features a brilliant pink dial inspired by Australia’s Pink Lake, with a strong black bezel and black silicone strap.
- SPB543 references Indonesia’s Blue Fire Crate, pairing a deep blue metallic dial with a matching bezel, set against a navy blue silicone strap.
- SPB539 is designed with the shifting sandbanks of the Maldives in mind. It carries a pastel teal dial and light blue-and-white bezel, finished with a white silicone strap.
The stylistic shift away from traditional tool-watch designs is quite evident. All three have very prominent colors and textures that follow the "wonders of nature" theme as both a story and design driver.
Technical features
- All models are powered by the 6R35 automatic movement, with approximately 70 hours of power reserve.
