Seiko has quietly put three Asia-Pacific limited Prospex automatics on sale: the SPB543J1, SPB539J1 and SPB541J1. All three are now listed on Seiko Singapore’s store alongside new Alpinist Prospex models, with limited quantities showing - some models report only two or three units left at the time of checking.
Each watch runs Seiko’s 6R35 automatic movement with roughly a 70-hour power reserve and hand-winding capability. They’re built as 200-metre divers with sapphire crystal glass, one-way rotating bezels, screw-down crowns and silicone straps. Case diameter is 45.0 mm with a 12.9 mm thickness, so these feel substantial on the wrist compared with smaller sport divers.
Design and edition details are region-focused. The SPB541J1 carries a coral-pink dial inspired by Australia’s Pink Lake, the SPB543J1 uses a deep blue referencing Indonesia’s Blue Fire Crater, and the SPB539J1 has a pastel aqua dial meant to reference Maldives sandbanks. Seiko has confirmed a combined production run of 5,500 pieces: 2,200 for the SPB543, 1,700 for the SPB539, and 1,600 for the SPB541. Each example ships in a themed box and has a serial number on the caseback.
Price points on Seiko Singapore read SGD 1,154.40 () for the SPB543J1 and SPB539J1, with the SPB541J1 listed at the same figure. Given the modest run and the site’s low remaining stock counts, these will likely move fast among regional collectors, and will be sold afterward via third-party channels at a higher price.
