Citizen releases new limited edition watch celebrating Thanksgiving Day Parade

The Citizen Soaring High Mickey Mouse watch, also known as model AW1862-06W, has been revealed. This timepiece marks the upcoming 100th anniversary of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, though this will happen in 2026 not 2025. It features an image of the first Mickey Mouse balloon to feature in the parade back in 1934.

The Disney character is set against a black background featuring clouds, and Mickey Mouse’s arms are two of the three watch hands. The third hand, indicating the seconds, is slim and gold colored, and the dial also has a basic date display. The face is surrounded by a gold-tone stainless steel bezel and case measuring 40 mm (~1.6 inches) wide. The case back is engraved with the unique edition number, and the watch comes with a black embossed leather strap featuring a red lining.

The AW1862-06W is an Eco-Drive watch, equipped with a J810 movement, which can be powered by any light source, removing the need to replace batteries. The product listing also indicates that the watch is splash-resistant.
