Casio launching chunky bezel G-Shock in more colors in US

The Casio G-Shock GAV01-4A, GAV01-7A, and GAV01A-9A watches are on the way to the US. These three new models in the GAV01 series were released in other markets, including Europe, earlier in 2025.

Now, Casio has announced that the GAV01-4A (pink), GAV01-7A (white) and GAV01A-9A (gold) watches will soon be available via its online store in the US. Each version will be priced at $155, matching the price of the four existing GAV01 watches. Whether or not these watches will also be sold via the brand's Amazon storefront is unclear.

Aside from the new colors, these GAV01 watches are identical to the originals. The G-Shock GAV01, or GA-V01, has a chunky resin bezel, with the casing measuring 49.1 x 58.2 x 19.6 mm (~1.9 x 2.3 x 0.8 inches). This is a shock resistant watch with the magnetic Shock Release Hand providing further protection against impact. 

The GAV01 is a hybrid watch with two analog hands and a negative (black background) digital display. It supports world time, with 31 time zones on offer, and a double LED backlight makes it easier to read in the dark. There is also a stopwatch, a countdown timer, hourly time signals and daily alarms. Plus, it has an estimated battery life of 10 years, and is water resistant to 200 m (~656 ft). 

Casio has not announced the exact release date of these three new G-Shock GAV01 watches in the US, though they are marketed as November 2025 launches on the brand's website.
