The Citizen Record Label Tsuno Chrono AN3664-56E watch has appeared at a Japanese retailer. Described as a “special color model”, this version of the Tsuno Chrono, launched in 1973, is all black.
Citizen’s AN3664-56E watch has a black round dial with white indexes, indicators and tachymeter, with two white and one red hand. It has a jet black-plated stainless steel casing, measuring 38 mm (~1.5 inches), and is accompanied by a matching metal strap. Plus, the face is protected by spherical crystal glass. Two push buttons at the top sit on either side of the 12 o’clock position, and are said to resemble horns, hence why the watch is called ‘Tsuno’, the Japanese word for horn or antler.
The AN3664-56E is equipped with a 0510 quartz calibre. It features a chronograph, measuring up to 12 hours in one second increments across three indicator dials. There is also a tachymeter and a basic date display. It is marketed as water resistant to 5 ATM, meaning it is suitable for swimming in shallow waters.
At OnTime Move in Japan, you can buy the Citizen Record Label Tsuno Chrono AN3664-56E watch for ¥34,100 (~$220). According to the product listing, this model is exclusive to this retailer.
