Six new Citizen Eco-Drive watches have been released in China. The range, spotted by Plus9Time, includes options with leather and metal straps, and a range of brightly colored and neutral toned dials, to appeal to a wide audience.
Each of these new Citizen watches is powered by the J810 calibre, a solar powered Eco-Drive movement. The analog timepieces feature a textured dial, with a vertical stripe pattern, and a silver tone stainless steel casing. They have three analog hands, a basic date display, and functions like overcharge protection and low battery warning.
The AW1819-05A and the AW1819-13L both have a calfskin leather strap, with a standard clasp. The AW1819-05A has a cream/gold dial with a dark brown band, while the AW1819-13L has a turquoise dial and a black strap; both also have black bezels. In China, they retail for CNY 1,675 (~$235).
The AW1819-56X and the AW1819-56A come with a black bezel and a silver stainless steel strap matching the casing. They have a 202 mm (~7.95 inch) diameter, and weigh around 133 g (~4.7 oz). The AW1819-56X has a bright orange dial with a black bezel, and the AW1819-56A has a silver dial with a black bezel. These two watches are priced at CNY 1,765 (~$248).
The final two products in the ramge are the AW1818-59L, with a navy face and bezel, and the AW1819-56E, with a black dial and bezel. The casing measures 42 x 12 mm (~1.7 x 0.5 inches), and these timepieces are water resistant to 10 bar. Plus, the metal straps feature triple folding clasps.
Whether or when these Citizen Eco-Drive watches could be released in other countries like the US is unclear.
