Citizen has added another two new radio-controlled chronographs to its lineup in Hong Kong, adding fresh color options to its Eco-Drive catalog. The new models are the AT8263-87X and the AT8268-83E, and both take a more dressed-up approach compared to the tool-heavy Promaster releases we’ve seen recently.
The AT8263-87X goes with a green dial and a warm, amber-gold case and bracelet, while the AT8268-83E has a black dial with a two-tone mix of black and gold. The cases measure 43mm across and are just a bit over 10mm thick, so they should feel relatively manageable for a chronograph of this style.
Both watches are powered by Citizen’s H800 radio-sync Eco-Drive movement, which means they can automatically set the time via radio signals in supported regions and run indefinitely as long as they see enough light. If you’re outside radio-signal coverage, it still runs as a regular solar quartz movement, so there’s nothing to worry about in day-to-day use.
There’s world time around the chapter ring, sub-dials for the chronograph and 24-hour indicator, and a date window tucked at 3 o’clock - a pretty familiar layout if you’ve handled Citizen’s current chronographs before. No official pricing or release timing for overseas markets yet, and Citizen hasn’t said whether these will make it to the US or Europe.
For now, they’re only confirmed for Hong Kong, based on the retailer listings that surfaced online. If they follow the usual pattern, we’ll likely see more concrete details in the coming weeks.
