It appears that Citizen was gearing up for a mass 2026 release, since another four new automatic watches under the NY4060 and NY406x series have been added to the Japanese manufacturer's lineup, with multiple case and strap options. The new models include NY4063-01L, NY4062-04X, NY4060-51L, and NY4060-51E, all priced at HK$2,580 (~$331).
All four watches share the same mechanical foundation. They are powered by Citizen’s calibre 8200 automatic movement and feature day-and-date displays positioned at 3 o’clock. Radio time reception is not supported, so the focus here is on a straightforward mechanical setup. Each model comes with a transparent caseback for a clear view of the movement.
The case size is the same across the lineup at 40 mm, with a thickness of 10.7 mm. Stainless steel is used for the case on all variants, paired with crystal glass, although some buyers will likely prefer sapphire glass at this price point. Water resistance is rated at 5 bar, which means these watches are more about daily wear rather than sports or tool use. Warranty coverage is listed at three years.
The differences are mainly in finishing and strap choices. The NY4060-51L and NY4060-51E both use stainless steel bracelets, with the former paired to a blue dial and the latter to a black dial. These bracelet versions weigh 132 g. The NY4063-01L and NY4062-04X switch to leather straps, cutting down the weight to 70 g. The NY4063-01L uses a blue dial with rose gold–plated case surfaces and a blue leather strap, while the NY4062-04X features a pink gold–plated case with a brown leather strap and matching dial tone.
Across all variants, the dial layout is as neat as it gets - there are applied hour markers, slim hands, and a simple minute track. Considering these models have identical specifications and pricing, the new NY4060 and NY406x watches look to be more about cosmetic choice rather than functional variation. It appears to be seen if these watches see a wider release in the near future.
