Alongside the three new Eco-Drive models, Citizen has announced four more automatic watches in China under the NJ0210 series. The models shown are NJ0210-05E, NJ0210-13L, NJ0210-56A, and NJ0210-56M, each sharing the same case and movement while differing mostly in color and strap or bracelet configuration.
All four watches use a 40 mm stainless steel case with a reported thickness of around 13 mm. The case design is simple and rounded, with polished surfaces and short lugs that should help keep the watches wearable despite the thickness. A boxed crystal appears to be used, based on reflections and edge distortion visible in the images, although the same hasn't been confirmed.
Regarding dials, each model features serifed Arabic numerals combined with an outer minute track, so the watches get a slightly vintage, field-watch-adjacent look - with the green dial model almost resembling the Seiko Alpinist models. The NJ0210-05E comes with a black dial and black leather strap, while the NJ0210-13L uses a blue dial with a matching blue leather strap. The bracelet models include the NJ0210-56A with a white dial and blue hands, and the NJ0210-56M with a green dial on stainless steel.
All versions include a date window at 3 o’clock, and the handset appears to be consistent across the lineup, with simple polished hour and minute hands and a slim seconds hand. The white-dial model deserves a special mention - it stands out visually due to its blue hands, which add a neat level of contrast and make it the most distinct of the four at first glance.
Inside, Citizen has used its caliber 8210 automatic movement, a familiar workhorse that beats at 21,600 vph and comes with hand-winding but no hacking seconds. While not a high-end caliber, it’s widely used across Citizen’s mechanical range and is generally considered a reliable, entry-level automatic option. For now, the announcement is limited to Citizen China, with no pricing or international availability details confirmed.
