New Citizen tachymeter bezel chronographs land in Europe

Citizen is launching three new CA471 watches in the EU. These are smaller Eco-Drive watches with a 39.9 mm (~1.57 inch) stainless steel casing, measuring 12.3 mm (~0.48 inches) thick, and a tachymeter bezel.

The first of these three new watches is the CA4714-04A. Its features include a cream dial, a black tachymeter, silver-tone stainless steel casing and a dark brown leather strap. The second model is the CA4714-55E, a black dial watch with a matching tachymeter, and a silver-coloured metal casing and strap. The CA4717-06E is similar to the CA4714-55E, but the steel bracelet is swapped out for a black leather strap.

These CA471 Eco-Drive watches are equipped with a B620-00M caliber. It has a 270 day power reserve and can be charged using any light source. This analog chronograph has tools like a stopwatch, a basic date display, a battery indicator and a 24-hour clock. Its three hands are said to be accurate to within 15 seconds each month. Plus, Citizen markets these watches as water resistant to 10 bar.

In EU countries like the Netherlands, the Citizen CA4714-04A and CA4717-06E Eco Drive watches retail for €259. The black CA4714-55E is a little more expensive at €269. It is worth noting that the CA4717-06E is currently out of stock, with prospective customers encouraged to use the ‘Inform’ button on the product page to sign up for an email notification when stock becomes available.
