Three new Citizen AW188 watches with textured dials launch

Citizen has released some new Eco-Drive watches with textured dials in the EU. Based on the AW188, each version features a vertical brushstroke pattern on the dial, set in a 43 mm (~1.69 inches) wide case.

The AW1889-00E is a predominantly black watch, with a black dial, fixed bezel and wavy urethane band. This is offset with a silver colored stainless steel casing and silver colored accents on the dial. The AW1880-55X has a green dial and bezel, while the AW1881-52L has a blue dial and bezel. Both of these watches have a silver-tone metal casing and strap.

Citizen’s AW188 uses the J810-00M Eco-Drive caliber with a 240-day power reserve. This analog quartz model has three hands for the hour, minute and second, remaining accurate to within 15 seconds each month. Other features include a basic date display and 10 bar water resistance.
