In Europe, Citizen has released two new NJ022 watches, with a third on the way. These automatic models are the NJ0229-07A, the NJ0221-50E and the NJ0220-52X.
The NJ022 has a mechanical 8210-B21 caliber, with a 40 hour power reserve. According to the company, it should remain accurate to within 20 seconds on a daily basis. Each version has a silver colored stainless steel casing, with a 38.5 mm (1.52 inch) diameter, and an 11.52 mm (0.45 inch) all case. The watches have three analog hands, a basic date display and a fixed bezel. Plus, they are water resistant to 10 bar.
Citizen’s NJ0229-07A has a textured white dial with black and gold accents. This is accompanied by a dusty pink urethane strap. The other two models, the NJ0221-50E and the NJ0220-52X, both have silver stainless steel straps. However, the NJ0221-50E has a black dial, and the NJ0220-52X has a green dial, both with white and silver details.
You can now buy the Citizen NJ0221-50E and NJ0220-52X watches in EU countries like the Netherlands for €249 each. The third model, the NJ0229-07A, will retail for €239. It is unclear when this watch will be released, though you can sign up to receive an email stock alert using the ‘inform’ button on the product listing.
